I am still chucking all the change in my sealed pot, apart from the 20p's as they are going in a seperate pot for the 20p challenge. Not keeping a tally of ho much I put in. I want it to be a nice suprise when I eventually open it.

I'm going to drip feed mine as and when.

I don't want to keep a track as I want it to be a surprise.

Well, you're officially one of us, cdm you too StressedSteph! A very warm welcome to you both. biggrin.gif Have fun saving. You'll find your numbers at the bottom of the list on post 5 of page 1. Please read through post 1 as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge.

*Please pop your numbers on your sigs, it really helps.

Sorry, StressedSteph, we must have both posted at similar times this monring and I had to zoom off shopping afterwards. You're up and away now though.

You too cdm, at last! Good to see you.
Counted up all my loose change for my first 'pot'. Have over £10 worth of 5ps and £8 worth of coppers, for somebody that only ever uses cards, how on earth did I amass such a change collection? :S

Anyhow, that's £19.79 into my sealed sweetie tin and a good start to my first challenge. I have made a deal with myself that the Xmas tree can't go up until the house is ship shape and shiny. So I expect there will be more pennies to add when I start organised cupboards/drawers etc, the little blighters get EVERYWHERE.

That's a wonderful start to your pot, AFS!!! It sounds as though there could be lots more with a house to search through...car too eh!! Fingers crossed!

oooh very well done, holliesmum!! :D

Just when you thought it was safe to start saving...

Sorry, imagination running away with me, too much coffee, need cake...:rotfl:

Now now, Rosy, calm yourself down, take deep breaths using a brown bag if needs be. It sounds like a panic attack to me. Don't worry, it isn't just you that gets fearful when nu1isit? to bring more scarey objects out of his lab  Will it be a Frankenstein type with a bolt in his neck...that walks possibly with a limp after nu1isit?'s finished with him. We await with baited breath!!!!!

Your hat pot sounds really lovely, AlTeREgO, any chance of letting us see? Bravo on capturing the cash!

Happy days indeed with that lot, young_un!

Whenever I see your name, nomi, I want to start eating..you know..nom nom nom. Sorry carried away for a mo. :o Good potting. BTW, IF on the 20p challenge they don't put the Totals down then you can pop it all on with your SPC Total next November.

A lovely sum, DreamerHelen, but I hope you washed the bottle out first..... as, if you need to wash the cash further down the track it makes it laundered. :D Ere, is that my photo you have?!!!

Ok kittie, whatever's best for you.

    £2.51 for the pot! :)
I'm not going to keep track of my total but I am going to aim to put something in the pot every night. Would be great to save enough to pay for Christmas next year.

No potting today :o however had a payment made in to our bank account that I wasn't expecting and therefore hasn't been budgetted against anything so have just put £115 into our house deposit savings ISA.

I have saved so much more in the last couple of weeks since stumbling across you, so much more than I would have done (I'm not a natural saver)!! Thank you so much Sue and Sparky! :T :snow_grin
