Aw beccah it never rains but it pours
Keep your chin up, you're doing a fantastic job with the kids just let it all out on here if it gets too much
Lovely to see you back Sue we've really missed you and thanks for asking about the fridge/freezer. Well, since I switched it back on it has behaved impeccably! I still can't believe it and am afraid to stock it up too much yet, but fingers crossed it might have worked (don't ask me how :rotfl::rotfl:)
I have been potting a few coppers here and there and 5p shop kill today (the first for ages....)

Keep your chin up - it gets better :T
Potted £3 out of my purse today. Funny how it was burning a hole in the purse just itching to be potted - not spent. Have I mentioned before how much I love this site and all the lovely motivational posters? :rotfl:SPC Member #112 :A Save £2k in 2014 # 160 :money:0 -

Firstly sorry I've been a little awol lately. It's not that I don't love you all
, it's that I started my online English Composition course with Duke University this week and have had lots of reading, writing and reviewing to do!
I am just about to dutifully pot some money as I haven't done any for a while. £2.15 in the pot, including a lovely £2 coin.
I haven't had a chance to properly catch up with what has been happening on here so hugs, well done's and get well soon's to all those that need them.
Beccah, oh my sweetie. I am so sorry, how absolutely horrendous for you!Dyspraxia isn't anything to be worried about, I expect your twelve year old is perhaps a little excitable or clumsy? One of my friends who is in her 60's now is the most amazing woman and has accomplished so much and she has Dyspraxia. It's about helping them engage and function in the world successfully, and more about helping other people to understand the child and why they can't always concentrate or listen to instructions. You are an incredible woman, with three great kids and I know that you will get through this and become stronger but I send you a big heartfelt squeeze, because really you needed support and courage from your husband but instead he gave you more confusion to work through.
Chin up buttercup and well done for keeping on potting!Saving for Disney again, oops why book one Disney holiday when you can book two!:starmod: Emergency Fund Savings - #148 - £10/£1000 1% :starmod::xmastree:#083 SPC6 £63 - SPC7 £90 - SPC8 £63 - SPC9 £54 - SPC10 £26 - SPC12 £70 :xmastree:0 -
Hope you dont mind all the details but really needed to offload tonight.
Oh dear beccah, what some awful events in your life over the past few months, you poor dear lass. I'm dearly hoping your DH is only needing a temporary breathing space and will soon return, if that's what you wish. You pour out your heart whenever you wish...anything to help you get through this, and whenever you're able, let the tears flow as it's nature's way of helping you through this awful time.
The psychologist may yet be of a completely different mind than those who have assessed your dear lad so far, after all with either ADD or dyspraxia, surely neither would have gone unnoticed all this time! However, if it should be either of the above - neither is life-threatening and he's still....your little treasure. :A
You're always amongst very many dear friends here, beccah, always bear that in mind and talk to us whenever you wish. We may not be there with you, but 'with you' we are! :kisses3:
Hugs, Sue xxx
Well done with yesterday's potting, Ruth, and I sincerely hope you get payment from the other job swiftly! All the best with the car.
little_sweetie, that is wonderful news about the FF, though I can understand you being reticent about stocking it too much just now, best to play safe.FF (fingers crossed, of course) for the FF.
You're most welcome, nell, and thanks so much for popping your No on. Thanks, I'm much better now. All the best with the Uni assignment.Potted £3 out of my purse today. Isn't it amazing how we all become so conscious about really saving hard now - rather than desperate to spend, MissE! :grinheartWonderful though and I'm so pleased you too are so happy here and on MSE in general.
Fantastic news of your English Composition course, mossy, all the very best with it.Have a good day, folks, keep warm all those up north and dry all those here in SW....stay well all.
