  • Golly, we've all got the makings of "health practitioners"... maybe not a doctor, but I hope jakes-mum is feeling the benefits of our collective caring bedside manner!! Hope there is an answer out there somewhere...

Friday, whoop whoop, I would say an NSD today except for the weekly handing out of pocket money and contribution to scout jamboree pot (am fund-matching DS in the hope of encouraging him to put more in it), by which time I had no change left for the SP... Oh, and 99 smackers out of the holiday fund for a long weekend at Pontins in July. So not really an NSD at all, lol!!

Up horribly early tomorrow (4.30am) as going to Body Shop at Home conference (ooh, am I allowed to say names?!) Just started as a consultant to try and generate some extra income; it's lots of fun and I'm very sweet-smelling these days!!

So night night all, keep safe and warm, and happy potting! ;)

Sue-UU perhaps there should be a Government Health Warning on here?:

  • Hello can I join please?

Christmas was a shocker this year and we will have a new baby to add to our tribe by then (due in May). Which will mean we have 5 kids to buy for as well as family. I'm not setting a target as I want it to be a surprise how much I've got in November.

    Ta very much!x

    Hi Pixie1980,

Welcome to our merry band. I may be slightly more merry than normal as it is Friday and I have had a beer *oops*. We are all very friendly and it is so nice to welcome new folks. Sue-UU (our beloved leader) will be along with your number but in the mean time have a quick read of the first post for potting ideas/rules, grab yourself something you can stick your coins in and join the addiction! It really does get to the stage where every little penny is begrudgingly given away when it could have found a nice home in your sealed jar!

I suggest (some may say obsessively, sorry!) that you subscribe to the thread. This can be done using 'thread tools' on the green bar above the posts. I personally have it set to send me instant emails so I don't get to forget where we are - it easy to get lost in the big, wide forum! It also serves to remind me in a gentle way what my plan is - save as much as I can!

You have (or will have) 5 little'uns? Wow! I have four and it is enough of a handful for me. I was one of 5 and I don't know how my Mum did it! You have my admiration. Putting away little and often will be a great help for you hopefully. I don't seem to notice it this way.

I popped some more change in my pot after my girls got back from GB, and my lad potted the change from the beans he bought for his tea. I will have them all trained up....eventually!

Welcome again and good luck with your potting!
