*Please pop your numbers on your sigs, it really helps. This week, I've managed to walk to and from the train station instead of using a bus a few times, so am potting the money I've saved (except one day when I bought a coffee at the train station due to missing my train)

I don't want to think how much money I've wasted on it over the years. Will also be potting the dosh that I would have spent on it each week.

Hiya
I have just joined the forum and am sitting here in my PJ's on a snowy January night .... and have found 25p in my dressing gown pocket! That is the start of my sealed pot fund. I have on old glass sweetie jar which I will use to try to save £250 for next Christmas. Any tips (no pun intended) gratefully received!0 -
stuck another 50p in my pot (potted twice today- its very addictive keep looking for coins to put in). Really want to prove to myself that I can save, and have a nice amount on 28th November, im normally pretty good with christmas and buy bits ready throughout the year, so want to put my potted amount into an account for rainy days (definetely not instant access)Make £10 a day challenge November £125.60/310

Hi Sue - just popping back to promise that I will do my utmost to visit a bit more often! I ran one of the other threads last year to give someone else a break but they are now back at the helm so I can spend all that time over here instead :j Yippee!!
Anyways the hand is a bit better today - I can at least move it now to work properly (I burnt and grazed it on a moving belt ) and am a little happier it is healing ok after a re visit to the hospital. Just have to wait patiently now......(I am NOT good at patient.....) I am sorry to hear your hand is still not as you would like - is there chance of it getting back to how it was??
Lovely to see so many new members again - I see the thread got another mention in the newsletter :money:
Hope to find more pennies for the pot soon. I am determined to do better than last years total this time around!
Happy potting everyone :beer:Challenge savings 2010-2016 £1564.60:j
