Hi everyone! A very tiny 32p for me this weekend. Rather a large shopping bill responsible for this, plus we needed a few bulk purchases from the farm shop. Apart from that not alot of opportunity to get any change.

No snow yet but very cold here, so keep warm and safe everyone.

    Hi all
A couple of pounds potted today after a little trip down to the West Country. 50p of it was parking machine kill which OH found :)
There was a dusting of snow on the high ground between Glastonbury & Bristol but it didn't affect the roads thank goodness. Now I'm safely home I don't mind if it snows cos I can walk to work in my wellies but I feel for those who have to drive.
Take care everyone, stay safe & warm :)

MiddyMum - I'm unsure about whether you wish to join or not, if you do please say. Many thanks.
No potting this week from me, but OH has put about £5 in from his trips to Tes*o and such, as I'm still in bed with very bad headaches :( (Stupid cupboards and mirrors!!) off to the doctors on monday after a counseling session, getting the bus too both so should have lots of pennies for the pot :)

And I emptied the "holding pot" into the stainless steel cylinder and got £39 out of it..i was most shocked!!

Well done on the HP pot, HMS!!!!! :j I'm so sorry to hear yu're still feeling so rotten. Do take care though, and I'm so pleased you're off to the Drs in the morning. Take care!
    Which makes a GRAND TOTAL of.....*Drum Roll Please*.....£47.44!!!!! :D:D:D

I'm so pleased....As I've said before this is the first time I've managed to save something and not spend it....and you Guys are really helping by keeping me honest....Believe me, the amount of times I've thought "I'll just take it all down the Bank and then spend it" and then thought "But that means I can't join in the Sealed Pot Thread anymore"...So thank you everyone...

Brilliant news, Helen!!!! Not far to go now for sure! You're doing so very well and it's truly marvellous to read such posts as yours and to know folk are really helping themselves to move forward. Keep at it always! :D

Do what makes you happy, WantToBeSE, re the pots.

That smelled good, LC 2, tasted even better too I'll bet a bob. I always send up a prayer for safety for all....then hope the snow comes!! :D

Its very cold here in Suffolk and the birds have had their feeders stocked up and the frozen bird bath is now unfrozen and the starlings have been bathing.

Hope the hedgehogs have found a nice warm place to snuggle into (had one in the garden about 2 weeks ago, a bit bizarre at this time of year!).

Snap with the bird's feeders, mishmogs! With a hibernating Hedgehog in our garden too. How the birds can bathe in this weather I don't know - our DD's mad dog splash into a lake this afternoon either!!!!

Oh very good, mummytummy, we like to stop our man's pockets from getting holes in! :p

Fantastic news, Barbeduk!!!! Very good indeed. :j
£3 in the pot today as leftover change from the week... not managing to save much so far :( only on £3.50!... finding it annoying that this january travelling to uni on the train has gone up and so is costing me more each week... my phone bill has been increased too.. ughh need to get my saving head on and see how I can save some cash!

£3 is still good savings, themstarrynights, so be pleased about it. It's rotten news about the rail fares  but sadly those sw*nes will keep on getting us every which way!!!! Budget well and save as hard as you can and ALWAYS flick the Vs to Downing St!!!! :rotfl:

Ahhh, bless your parents, emmita!!!! :j Your poor rabbit...reminds me, I must go to the Dentist too as I've got horrible toothache! :(

E-Bay sales are great for the SPC pots too, chelle1987, great news!!!

Never stop looking, mossy! One of these days! ;)

You're doing really well, LunaLady, keep hard at it. :D

Hi elizabunny and I do hope that the words shopping and savings mean you may be just a little better now? I sincerely hope so.

Hi Rosy! You've been relatively close to me then, good to hear you had a safe trip back and had some pottings!

    Do wrap up warm tomorrow
    , everyone, and take care!

    Morning folks,

Been absent over the past couple of days but the pull of the email alerts has meant I haven't forgotten to pot hehe. So Saturday and Sunday I potted a grand total of £1.57.

No snow here much to hubby's disappointment. He drives lorries for a living so if the roads are shut then he doesn't work lol. Course my youngest is pleased, she hates the snow with a passion.

    Have a great day!

We have the white stuff here, got 2 very disappointed children downstairs as both schools are still showing as open :rotfl: . . . Ohhhh is that eldests lift I here? Time for school jakes :D (I'm not taking pleasure in this honestly)

Ill just stay here in my nice warm bed :D

Need to go tv shopping today as DH has decided, 3 days before youngests birthday, that really she should have a new tv not our old one (normally I would argue this but it seems it has a *button* issue, in that the buttons for the volume turn the tv over :rotfl:

After weeks of searching for a sealed pot and not wanting to pay to much I have found one. A small cardboard box that I sealed and put a hole in the top :)

Have a rouge estimate that about £5.00 in change went in (I forgot to count, but hey it will add to the surprise in November). I also got a small money box for Christmas so I'm putting £1 coins in there (a rare occasion that will be!) 50ps will remain in my purse for parking and other small stuff :)

Feels good to finally be up and running properly on this challenge

    Happy Monday everyone :)
