Another teetotal day here so I popped 4chf in my pot.
Haven't had anything else to put in recently but I like the idea of putting in the savings you make from shopping. Would you include the difference if you bought 'whoopsied' products'Trying to keep in budget.

Hello Potters
...
Sorry for been AWOL..I've had the, 'dreaded lurgy viral thingy'. So lots of passing out, sleeping, mild confusion (nothing different there then :rotfl:), sickness, sweating clamminess, with a frisson of shivers and cold :rotfl:  :rotfl:. Temperatures touching 40, you know the fun stuff....could be worse though, could have had that Noravirus on top ...Imagine the the possibilities for fun then _pale_  :rotfl::eek:_pale_.
A few pennies for the pot, hope the rest of you are okay - I haven't had a chance to catch up reading the thread yet.
I think I missed New Years on here too, so Happy Belated New Years to you all, if I did .
Sorry to hear you have been poorly, hope you are feeling better....
I have potted the usual £1 per day (for 3 days) and a bit of scrapnel in the VW camper van but no £2 for the owls headstill tomorrows another day!

I found my first road kill today, a very dirty 2p, but it didn't go in my pot. I bought my nieces and nephew a sealed pot so I gave it to the youngest who is nearly 2, she then wanted the rest of the change in my purse to go in her tin, and is now running around the house shouting coins, coins.0

Been AWOL the weekend, has not been a good time in the jakesmum house unfortunately, and little miss lily now has a water infection which culminated in a trip to our of hours sat evening (will these illnesses ever leave the poor mite alone?
) so have been up every 2 hours for the last 2 nights with her
Anyway apart from the hospital run, haven't been out to get any change, so no money for the pot. May be AWOL a bit longer, but will try to come on and at least read everyone's news, keep potting away all.SPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000 -

No worries, hadenmaiden, but as you've realised, I do it all automatically at the beginning of each year (late November) so no one ever needs to re-join. Well done with your new savings!
Good for you, Wyre, it's lovely to know you'll be getting more incentive by keeping up to date with us more.

Had a big clear out in my son's room today in preparation for the new arrival so he had some toys and puzzles that he no longer wanted. Put them on a local buy and sell site on Facebook. Sold one puzzle for £3 and he put that straight in the pot, bless him!Sealed pot member #1950 - £44.79
