Right all got my new pot today from a car boot sale - it tells me via a digital display on top how much I got saved and I'm starting off with a healthy £21.45 !!!!0

Went through all the jacket pockets, only 60p in mine but £2.90 in husband's. Not any more, it's all in the pot!

I think my partner has cottoned on to the £2.00 coin mantra "every one is a prisoner" I managed to snaffle another 2 from him earlier in the week which was great, but I am sure I saw him sorting his change before he put it on the table and I would swear I heard £2.00 coins jingling in his pocket :cool: I will have to maybe resort to frisking also, or go to evening classes for pickpocketing :rotfl::rotfl:
Anyhoooooo, I have potted those and also another £6.00 myself this week from saving on shopping so not too shabby.
No more shopping until during the week so probably no more potting until then, Unless

4 x £2 coins, 1 x £1, 4 x 5p and 3 x 1p = £9.23p into my pot today.
The £1 was off a scratchcard my DD bought me at Xmas which would normally have been spent on another but my pot has been crying to be fed. I found 1p shopkill in Ald! and another 1p outside in a moneybag that had been chucked away! :eek: Ah well, their loss, my pot's gain.
