  • Whoop whoop! So happy :j cleaned out my car & kitchen drawers this morning and found £5.70 in silvers & a £1 coin, all in the pot....
Although I can tell you this will be the biggest amount that will be put in, in one go! So happy to have such a good start.

If only I could find this amount everyday, oh well will have to wait another year to clean out the car :rotfl:

I am nesting Sue! Day off today so more nesting :) OH gave me a Euromillions ticket last night and said it was a winner with about £3 on it. It was actually £11.40. Think I may keep quiet about that lol. Potted the £1.40. Have a good day everyone xx

  • Morning all :)

I have put about £6 ish into the pot this weekend.

My new years resolution is to get to work on time so i can leave on time so i have time to go to the gym. However, this means i have to pay 30p parking for the gym as i'll be there before 6. My cigarette pot in my car is currently full of £1 coins so i'm considering taking out about £10 and replacing them with as many 10ps as i can fit :) once i get round to it it will be a nice little boost for my pot :)

Potting £1 a day and £1 when i go to the gym are not working very well so i'm now going to trial potting £1 for every lb i lose :) i want to eventually lose about 80lb but dont think i can achieve that in a year.

Anyways, i hope everyone is well. I am poorly sick today :(

80lbs will be a doddle, if you have the right frame of mind :) especially with going to the gym! I am a PT so if you need any tips/advice I'm more than happy to help :)

Been AWOL the weekend, has not been a good time in the jakesmum house unfortunately, and little miss lily now has a water infection which culminated in a trip to our of hours sat evening (will these illnesses ever leave the poor mite alone? :() so have been up every 2 hours for the last 2 nights with her :(

Anyway apart from the hospital run, haven't been out to get any change, so no money for the pot. May be AWOL a bit longer, but will try to come on and at least read everyone's news, keep potting away all.

    HI JAKES MUM

    Poor Miss Lily!!

Hope she soon feels better give her a big (((HUG))) from me

    Hi Everyone
Post arrived and renewal came for travel insurance so
DH is then going on about bills !! So have offered to cancel SXX Sports and his Fishing Permit and his Fishing License for both waterways This would make a big saving!!!

Funny he went to Axxa for some milk and bread and never asked for any pennies :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

He has now gone out to buy a new tyre for my car via the bookies I think , with no complaints.

Hmmm Wonder if it has anything to do with his fishing things are all due this month :rotfl::rotfl: and he really , really needs to go this week. I think the fish are wondering where the two men who sit on the bank with those poles for hours are, cos they just love swimming in and out of the line all day its like the fish Olympics!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Haven't potted any pennies yet but going out soon so will do when I get back
