Lucky you matttye, hope my mot doesnt throw up any suprises, last year it cost me about £1,600 in the end.

That's more than I paid for my car, geez!!

I bet you drive something more extravagant than a ford KA though :p

    Good luck!

£808.28 stashed away for real this time, not against debt - not quite as much as I was planning, but I got the air conditioning in my car fixed ... bliss :D:D

£0 to report for June after an unexpected communal electricity bill, car insurance etc.

Hoping for the usual £500 in July, with any extra due to be spent on a september holiday.

£1000 went away for June :) just sent my update.

YoungBusinessman I saw you say about people your age not being able to afford to do things until payday etc... That's so true for many people I know too! I feel so proud of myself not having to wait until payday comes around to be able to say "yes! I can do that/buy that!" I'm so glad I've started saving already :)

A new spammer came yesterday and posted 44 pointless and useless posts in 50 minutes just to build the post count. This one was thanked two times  .

dramarama and matttye, are you blind? What were your thanks for? Are you just doing your best to devalue 'thanks' on this forum?

If I was blind I couldn't hit the thanks button!

I don't look at people's post histories every time I read their posts. Nearly every post in this thread is thanked, so why single us out? :p

The button is big. It's worth reading the post before hitting it.

Yes, that's the point. As I said, something is wrong with this board.

I can't read every single post to see if they were useful or not. I just was surprised that yesterday's spammer was thanked 5 times and checked the thanked posts. The one in questions certainly wasn't useful in the slightest.

I use it as more of a 'like' button, like many others.

It's like a 'well done for saving' thing in this thread.
