Hi everyone, I've been pretty quiet on here but am still up for the challenge.
Have been busy organising a hen weekend for my friend and in true money saving style I've managed to shave £25 off the cost of the hennie which the girls will get back in the goodie bags I've made up... They've all been giving me money every month to save up for it... So I'll give them all back £25 on the day we leave...! Love it when a budget comes together!
So nothing to add to my £10k challenge really but thought I'd share my money saving story anyway!0 -

Hi folks. I am still plodding away with saving each month. Really great to see how well everyone is doing.
I only wish I had started saving properly like this many years ago. Oh well, better late than never. I am starting to wonder what the heck I did with all my money over the years though:eek:0 -
Hi people, how are we all today? £30 to add to the pot for March, cashback from changing energy suppliers....back in November! Had totally forgotten about it and I think it was a tip from MSE :-)
Allie23: I know what you mean! Every year I get my P60 and see how much I've earned in the year and then look at what's in the savings pot......its scary how much you spend on "stuff" once all the bills are paid!0 -
Transferred in £1000 for Feb. Took advantage of some 'deals' on hotdealsuk. I really should stay off that site.0

:j Just reached my goal- Emergency pot is back up to £10k now. This is partly because I just consolidated an online ISA into my Nationwide Flex ISA so have received a nice little interest sum of £90.94
At least all my money is now in 1 pot earning a nice 4.25%
Now just need to focus on the wedding fund a bit more. Getting there slowly but steadily. Will update March totals on payday which is soon!
