I think it's a good idea. You can swap any games/cds etc that you don't want anymore. Get about 2 flips for them and get something else. The things you get with 2 flips are worth about the same. So it saves you buying them :j~ lilmiss ~0

Hi Hitflip,
Great service you have. I used to be a Swopex member but I became inactive when the site became all about cash rather than swapping. I never received the code for a free flip, so I'm grateful to this site for providing it or I would never have tried Hitflip. I've had a great free DVD and plan to start listing my old PC games as soon as I get them down from the loft.
I'm also confused about the over 18 titles, though. Surely UK certificates prevent you selling 15, 12 and even PG-rated titles without proof of age? Why are 18 rated titles a special case?
I'm also a little bit wary about the number of German editions of DVDs on the site. How would I go about finding information on the language(s) and what extras are on these discs, etc. I assume they differ from UK editions in at least some instances? And is there any way to find out where your swappers are located? I'd prefer not to have to send things to Germany as this would make the flip prices a lot less attractive, with the extra postage cost.0 -

)
Nothing gets debited, but that shows they are over 18.
Problem solved. Next!
Thanks for your valued tips. We are looking at various options that can be implemented.0 -

18 cert needs special precautions - very deep law topic I would prefer not to discuss in full depth here. We are looking at it and it is also in our interest to get it up and running.
on hitflip.co.uk you can only swap with UK residents - makes p&p transparent. The reason for some German titles is that we parse the titles from Amazon (Germany) and it will take a while for us to clean the system from German titles. You will always be swapping UK versions.0 -
I love this site...i`ve already recieved a CD with my free credit, and just "swapped" another that I listed to earn me 2 more flips_________________________________:starmod: Please do not feed the trolls! :starmod::beer:0

UK legislation. We can offer it in Germany as in Germany their is a so called post ident system -> You go to the postoffice and identify yourself that you are over 18 and they send a legal form to us stating that you are over 18 and no under 18s live in your houshold. Sending 18 rated films in the UK and identifying over 18s respectively isn't as easy as some would hope.
