Hitflip - free DVD

Though I can't turn my nose up at a free DVD, the site is horrendous. I'd certainly never pay to take part - it's just too hard. The actual amount of items available is so low - I got all excited looking at the GBA games but none are available! And the books are all 'Windows 97 for dummies' outdated tat.

Swopex started at the same time as Hitflip in Germany generating only 10.000 Users while Hitflip generated over 100.000 in the same time. If Swopex would have been successful, then they would have taken over Hitflip and not the other way around. Hitflip doesn't have the full (sales) functionality of Swopex and doesn't desire to offer this as we love the idea of swapping instead of shopping.

Assuming you are genuine, you've had a tremendous amount of free publicity from MSE, so if you want to come here, you are welcome, but show some respect and manners - particularly since the Hitflip site is very far from perfect at present!

I refer you back to lisyloo's accurate post which was about ID theft, not fraud. Why don't you go away and sort that out before getting on your high horse?

well i think i did it. I clicked to request the item and the flips were taken from my account but nothing came up to say that I've ordered it. Is this normal? Where can I found out my order history???

Click Home, then click on "You have 0 new ToDos".

This brings up a list of things you need to send but also lists things people need to send to you and the current status of the swap.

That rather seriously undermines the site, doesn't it?

UK legislation. We can offer it in Germany as in Germany their is a so called post ident system -> You go to the postoffice and identify yourself that you are over 18 and they send a legal form to us stating that you are over 18 and no under 18s live in your houshold. Sending 18 rated films in the UK and identifying over 18s respectively isn't as easy as some would hope.

Actually lets put it very straight forward: The code was never intended for being published on this site. It was sent to former swopex users as a welcome present and for them to get to know the Hitflip functions. It was spread to this site and I am more than happy for you guys to use it as long as you understand that it is not about milking the cat.
