  • he wants the decs up this weekend, so I told him not until the windows are clean :p I was a bit concerned when he asked about OS methods of cleaning them and mentioned tomato ketchup!! I told him it's vinegar, not ketchup. I think he knew was something to do with chips :rotfl:

I bet you were so glad he double checked.......but I remember as a child my Dad teaching me how to coat old tarnished copper coins in brown sauce to bring them back to a shiny pinky brown colour:D:D:D probably the vinegar in the brown sauce that does it.........

maybe your OH had a similar half-remembered story from his youth :rotfl:

In any case, so glad you are not having to wipe tomato ketchup from your windows this morning :T

Hello, and thanks for the welcome back HJ and Bossymoo

Spent this morning finishing emptying the log store, moving it and then refilling it with a lovely great double load of nice dry logs. Happiness is a full log store, but I am stunned at how much the logs had gone up by.

I have found a roll of black bags so I have no excuse not to get cracking. Off to do HHC on our freezing cold bedroom. I will have a tidy and peaceful bedroom tonight.
