    Happy Friday everyone

Beautiful frosty morning here so I'm going to walk or cycle to town in a bit.

House is a real tip so I've tidied all of upstairs (expcept DS1 room which he can do when he gets home from work), stripped DS2 bed and hoovered. Looks better already so I'm going to do the same downstairs when I get back.

    Good morning all

Yes, I know I said I would be MIA today, but my plans have changed - DS1's school had an OFSTED inspection thrust upon them at very notice, so he and DDiL have been up until 4 am each of the last 2 nights making sure that all his paperwork is in order, and frankly I would only be in DDiL's way today when she is tired. Sorry I shan't be playing with DGDs until 28th December, but I do understand. Does the Government think it is really helping teachers by putting them under such sudden pressure in the name of "raising standards"? - don't answer that!!!!!!!

I have packed up two heavy parcels of books to send to Germany and am awaiting the courier. At least I don't have to lug them to the post office :)

S&S has also been done; now I have more paperwork and eB@y listings to do. I've got a nice lot of watchers for my items ending at the weekend - just hope they come up with the bids ;)

(((Hugs))) and spoons to all who need them, woolly jumpers for anyone who is feeling the cold (we have frost and blue sky - the outside temperature is minus 2.5) and sticks for BDs.

Off to feed my birds, including the ones with fur coats and bushy tails :rotfl:
  • Good morning :D

DW is on, washing up done. I have taken the dog for a lovely walk in the frosty sunshine. I still love breaking the ice on big puddles! :p And there were some very big puddles! I took him to the beach yesterday for a paddle in the sea :) He loves the water and doesn't seem to notice the cold!

I have warmed up now, and had breakfast. I need to do something useful now so I am going to see if I can get anything crossed off some lists. I am only working from about 1.15-4.00 today, so a short day :) I MUST make a start on my case study as well between now and Sunday.

Off to check the lists and make a start.

Well on Wednesday according to my wii I had put on 2 pounds, missed yesterday too many commitments, Made a curry last night for myself and neighbour who had her angiogram yesterday,(all fine).
Then this morning it says put on 1 pound ,so total of 3 to get off again ,Whilst exercising glanced down garden and I can see a DEAD RAT , so now will have to go and remove his/her body
Do I need it or just want it.
  • Well it's looking better albeit slowly!

In the last 90 minutes I have:
    • Purchased hardcore bleach & other cleaning products :o
    • Bleached downstairs loo
    • Cleared away kids makeshift tents and rehomed duvets
    • Cleared off the banisters of all the clothes
    • Cleared out a cupboard in the kitchen to accomodate stuff out on the counters
    • Put away everything on the dining room table
    • Wiped down the kitchen sides
    • Washed up remaining pots
    • Cleaned the sink
    • Wiped down dining room table
    • Cleaned the place mats
Next I need to tackle the clutter and clear out the playroom. But first, I need to refuel so I'll have a cup of tea first :)
    Declutter challenge - 81/1500 (5.4%)
    Make £2,021 in 2021 - £148.95/£2,021 (7.3%)
  • I am joining you Claire and having a cuppa :)

I set the kitchen timer, but had to extend my HHC as DH phoned wanting me to google some quiz questions :p
In my HH(ish)C I did the following:

Gathered washing and put on WM
    emptied hoover
washed up dog bowls (yuk!) - should do this more frequently :o
    swept kitchen & utility
    cleaned round toilet
put the chrome (now rusty/dusty) rack from under the sink out the front to go down the tip (fling!)
    mopped kitchen & utility

not too bad. I need to go out in 20 mins to pick up DD2 from school, so I may do some computer-based jobs while I am drinking my tea. At least I can cross something off the list at last!

Afternoon all. I've been here all week but not posting. The longer I don't post the harder it is to start again...

I've still been flying in my own way and everything is done I think. No sun here today and frosty. When I walked round the park this morning the lake was frozen over a bit, enough for the seagulls to stand on anyway. The swans and ducks had kept some areas clear each end.

The sparrows and starlings are feeding well in the garden this morning and I did remember to empty the birdbath last night so I only had to refill it this morning instead of having to defrost it first!
  • After a difficult 24 hours of non flying and just taxi-ing round and round the runway, I have had to take drastic action. As deliberate upset by my Sis over flybaby's existence made me very unwell last night, I was frightened to go to sleep and spent all night snacking, checking blood and flybaby's movement. Although a speedy resolution handling my Dad's probate would alleviate one short term day to day money pressure I have decided it I can leave the rest until after flybaby gets here.

So, after spending 3 hours stirring myself into a frenzy, I rang DWP and ESA missed payments are going in Tuesday , and to give myself some more breathing space. I have tarted a credit card away for 14 months:money:, I was hoping to settle one debt by now from Dad, but not at flybaby's expense -

DD3 stomach de-clutter had a half attempted resolution yesterday, but needs more effort today - need to crack out the v@x - a big teapot of tea to keep me going

by way of apology DD3 read yesterday's list and decided to use my new laptop cleaning kit that was in the trug to throughly clean the laptop including the little brush thingy around all the keys - no disasters, no tragedies, just a lovely sparkly laptop :j:T:j it looks like my efforts are finally being appreciated -

Time for a quick sarnie, a cuppa, then I will have HH-declutter to make up for bu88er all yesterday, :o:eek: anyone fancy joining me at 1o'clock :T

    - v@x can wait until everything is a bit straighter:D:D
The cold never bothered me anyway
