    Hi all

Thanks for putting up with my diatribe re ESA.:o Mr LW is going to be my representative; he called the DWP yesterday (re the incorrect phone number); they wanted to speak to me, and I had a near-meltdown there and then!:eek::eek: Mr LW took the phone back off me, and said to the chap “now d'you understand the problem with phones?” Mr LW is already my representative with the GP surgery (I had to write them a letter saying he was authorised to deal with anything concerning my health), and he's said he'll take this on also.:A

We talked at length last night; we've decided that, with care, if we decide I'm too fragile to go through their hoops, we'll drop my claim completely, and we should be able to cope financially *crosses fingers *. Just for background, I've been on IB for over a decade, and have a document somewhere (probably filed in the loft) from when I got medical retirement saying I would never be fit to work again, on both physical and mental health grounds. I have deteriorated considerably, on both counts, since that document was produced.:(

Miasnanny unfortunately I don't fit the age requirement for AgeUK to help me; but in any case, having a stranger help me would also stress me out; I have heard of one of the MH issues I have described as anthropophobia – fear of people.:eek::eek::eek::eek: Which is why counselling is of no use to me.....

On a better note – I'll be having a Westie to stay over Xmas; so the enforced break will be at least bearable.:T

I have some membership paperwork to do which I should've really done yesterday, but was too stressed;:( and I need to scrub the loo at some stage today – again, should've been done yesterday,:( but it all seemed to go to Hel in a handbasket, one way and another.

I'll have to try and get back on track next week...... Again.....

Gentle (((hugs))) and as many extra spoons as you can hold are coming your way, LW. (Now I understand spoons - thanks for yesterday's link!)

I'm sure that with MR LW's :A help and support you will manage to submit your claim.

Hey, LW, you used the C word  - even if you did try to camouflage it by spelling it with an X :rotfl: Not long till your Y celebrations, though, and I too am looking forward to the days lengthening again. I hate darkness closing in at 3.00 pm :(
Having the Westie to stay sounds fun. I particularly miss my old dog when the weather is fine and I would prefer to be out walking rather than sat at my desk. (We have sunshine today...)

My flying is minimal again. I have S&S'd kitchen and bathroom, started the stew for our evening meal in the SC, flung some out-of-date paperwork and cleared a whole drawer in the filing cabinet, and also completed one big task on the computer. Now I'm about to stop for lunch, then there's more where that came from. DH has just come home and offered me a cup of tea, so that's nice - my :A

Tomorrow I shall be MIA - going to play with DGDs :j

    Howdy

Downstairs loo brought back to the land of the living. Kiddies and self fed, kitchen s&s, tots under blanket on sofa having a cuddle :T and watching the polar express. Still icy outside.

I love swimming :rotfl: it wears them out.

I had to laugh yesterday, there were emails all morning between me and my boss (he was off-site) and in the end he rang me and said I was a bit of a pest (lol he was kidding and it was all business related). Anyway, I got on and about 3 hours later he sent me one just saying "my name" so I replied with just his name, then he replied to me saying "stop distracting me" lol. The next one he got was a smiley bopping another smiley on the head :D

Anyway, swimmy stuff been through on quickwash and hung in airing cupboard. eB@yables photo'd so will weigh them and scribble some notes and list them later. They can all go on for 50p as there's nothing too exciting...

Have a nice cosy afternoon, all.

Hope you are feeling better today LW.

I am waiting to be migrated as I haven't had anything from the DWP yet. Trouble is with me I refuse to answer the phone if I don't recognise the number, so even if they did ring me then they wouldn't be able to speak to me. From what I have gathered if they don't get any answer they just go ahead and said the forms out.

We have also been looking at our finances, and if it is too traumatic for me, with my mental health, then I will accept what they say after the assessment (if I have to go to a assessment that is.)

Help - my kitchen has been taken over by dust and ceiling bits. I keep flitting in there, lifting up dust sheets and getting the milk so I can make cups of tea in the living room. I keep telling myself that it will look lovely with a brand spanking new ceiling (the other one was errr dead!!), and we lowered the new one. Thank gods we have 9ft high ceilings to start with..lol

I did clear the hotspot that was in the corner of the kitchen before my builder came round. And would you believe it I actually cleaned and tidied the kitchen before he did any work. I must have been mad..lol

It's takeaway for dinner tonight as I am not cooking anything in the kitchen until all dust has been eradicated. I can see me pulling everything out/off the worktops etc and starting from scratch. Still at least I can put it all back nice and neat :D

  • I was awake at stupid o'clock, so I got the cross stitch picture frame cleaned inside and out, and microfibre cloth got rid of the dust on the picture itself, but some of the marks on the fabric are rust marks from where I stapled the edge of the picture to the frame insert - it has been 17 odd years though...so I may have a look in craft shops for some acid free cardboard mount to lay over the front in the frame so the rust marks are hidden.

The day went downhill from there....DD3 decided to de-clutter the contents of her stomach all over the main bathroom, her carpet and hallway - it reeks of garlic - as does my kitchen as she decided to make a midnight snack of potato and onion soup - only there were no onions left so she used half a jar of minced garlic instead.

ESA thing left me feeling run over by a steam roller it's been dragging since Monday, struggled to get presentable and get DS ready for nursery and got there an hour late :(

Got some more cleaning stuff from Mr T to try and kill the garlic smell as it is everywhere upstairs and down....I can only escape it if I go in the garden or sit in the car.

I have turned the heating off, and opened all the windows in the hope I can stay in long enough to get it cleaned up without vomiting myself but motivation on this one is non existent.

Just had a text in from the ESA team saying they have got my certificate and no need to contact them....my missing payments still haven't gone through, so I will *try* to ring them tomorrow if it still hasn't gone in - really not in the mood to try to write letter of complaint, so just hope I don't get whacked for charges....

Going off list now, I may be back tomorrow and will start again then
The cold never bothered me anyway
