Thanks for the inspiration.
I've finally worked out what I'd like to do. I'm currently doing further research and plan to launch in March.Your biggest asset is TIME! I'm focused on multi-generational financial freedom.0 -
Yes thanks for the info op and i hope things are still going well for you.
I am going to help the wife to start a youtube channel that will probably be food related.
I have the technical skills to help her, from being an ex camera man, video editor and musician, so we are pretty much covered in that area.0 -
Oh by the way, what sort of income would be generated from a channel having 119,019 subscribers and 60,651,809 views?
A rough estimate would be cool0 -

That depends on a lot of different factors, what is the daily number of views?Pay off Car Loan £17,047 £10580 by Christmas 2022

Is this still working for you?0

Hi MMO,
yes it is still working but not like I'd hoped. The £20 per day and rising plummeted to more like £10 per day and stayed there!! January 2014 earnings were £339.89 (621460 video views)
It seems to be going up a bit at the moment, but does fluctuate and I wouldn't like to be relying on it for an income.
It's free and fun to do so I'm not complainingPay off Car Loan £17,047 £10580 by Christmas 2022

Hi
Just wondering how it is going? I have started a channel myself recently and have just started earning, although its just estimated earnings for now.
Question, are you required to pay tax on ad-sense earnings? if so how would you calculate this?0 -

Hi, well done on your channel. You should put your channel link in your profile contact. It's much harder to make money now than it was a couple of years ago! I've got over 200 videos now and currently making £400-£500 a month. I have a Youtube diary and publish my monthly figures over at The Money Shed.
Yes you do have to pay tax on your income. You need to register as self employed with the inland revenue and keep records of your income and outgoings. I have an accountant who keeps me right.Pay off Car Loan £17,047 £10580 by Christmas 2022

Wow. I am very inspired by this. I have just clicked to make money from my videos but a few pence is more likely for me at the moment. It is all good fun and a hobby so any earnings would be a bonus.Mortgage free Start amount feb 2014 227000. Current amount nov 2014 217000.
