One of the bad time wasting things I do during the day is drool over properties on Right Move. Here's the object of my desire:

    http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-to-rent/property-36356827.html

It's sooooo lovely. I love Port Solent and would love to live there one day. Okay, it's over twice the rent that we pay now........I know, it's not going to happen :(. I can dream though ;).

Back in the real world, I just ordered my mum a mother's day card for free from Amazon.

Thanks GRC. I spoke to OH last night about it and he reckons we might be able to afford something like that in 2-3 years. It would be so much better to have a bigger flat. I love my flat now, but it's more for a single person really. When his parents come and stay, there's hardly room to move. Think how much nicer it would be to be able to shove them in their own room and bathroom ;).

Today's the anniversary of my dad's death - 7 years seem to have flown by. So we're off to the cemetery later today, even though it's freezing outside and probably more like the Arctic in the cemetery.

Went round my sister's last night to keep her company (the kids and her OH are up north still). She ordered in a pizza, so I got a free meal. Was good to see the kitten again too. I've been missing her a bit.

Also got some free tickets to a movie on Monday. Looks quite good too.

    Morning

Just waiting for the guy to come and inspect my flat.

The duvet cover arrived.....and it's going straight back. It's horrible quality. I know, what did I expect for that price right? But it would be like sleeping on sandpaper. I've asked for a refund as there are also lots of yellow/orange marks on the material that were clearly there from when it was manufactured. I'm going to have to save for a more expensive one. Still determined to get one free from Amazon though.

Also got the mother's day card through, which is fine.

OH announced this morning that we're going to his parents tomorrow. At least it's only a day visit and I don't have to stay overnight I guess.

Just got tickets to another free movie on 5th March :).

Also had an email from the duvet people and they've sent me a freepost label to send it back, which I'll do when I go out at lunchtime. The inspection guy has also been.

Forgot to mention that another £10 has been paid off a debt today. So my debt is below £42k. I know in reality, I've only paid off just over £100, but if I look at my signature quickly, it looks like I've paid off a grand :D

    Hi Emz,

I'm sorry to hear about the anniversary of your Dad. I hope the day went by ok for you all.

I shouldn't have clicked on the Port Solent link! It's gorgeous! I agree with GRC completely. Believe it and see yourself there and it will find a way of happening.

I know I'm up early for the weekend. It's always the way, when I can sleep in, I just wake up.

Anyway, yesterday I came up with a list of things I want to achieve in March. Here it is:
    • Earn £930 on 63336
    • Get pay out on New Vista (£50)
    • Get pay out on Global Test Market (£30)
    • Get pay out on One Poll (£40)
    • Get pay out on Panel Base (£10)
    • Get £100 in vouchers
    • Get £50 from free bingo
    • Get £50 tracking/paid out on Quidco
    • Get £50 tracking/paid out on Top Cash Back
    • Get £50 from eMystery Research
I'm going to see how I go with those and then readjust them for April if necessary. On the survey ones, a lot are near payout, so I know I won't be able to achieve that every month.
