    Hi Emz,

I too am happy you've stayed on here. I also read a couple of other diaries of people just trying to live within their means while paying some debt off and I think you qualify there to keep you out of fraud territory. It's also nice to also read of someone living life and chipping away at debt too.

Cardigans are a long way from the granny things we used to get. I've seen some M&S cardi's and I don't think they're aging!

I also find M&S great value at the moment. There's an outlet near me and one on my way to work that opens at 7am so I got most of my work outfits for this year in there. They're one place who don't stock room the good stuff away when they have a sale on!

    Thanks MT :).

I might have to look in the outlet again next week when we see the next free movie.

    Thanks GRC and Jwil :)

Had a bit of a panic this morning. My laptop refused to work . Managed to fix it in the end, but I think it's on its last legs. Might need to start a laptop fund.

Dodged going to see OH's parents at the weekend. I've said I'm not going in case it snows and we get stuck there (worst nightmare). So OH has said we aren't going and his mother is not happy. What a shame :D.

I'm dragging my sister to see Les Mis on Saturday. I don't think she's that keen, but I'm trying to broaden her horizons!!

    Afternoon everyone :)

I'm feeling really tired today. No idea why. I think I need a good lie-in. No chance tomorrow though as I'm on auntie duties, so have to be up at 6.30am.

Setting myself a little challenge of clearing my council tax arrears by 31st March 2013. I would love to start the new financial year with a clean slate. Going to tackle it 1% at a time.

    Evening everyone

Well, it happened yesterday. I knew it was coming and I was dreading the day. Yep, my laptop died :(. I've had it for 4-5 years, so it has served me well. I literally used it every day for hours at a time.

So I have a new red HP laptop that is taking some getting used to. It's so fast though, I realise just how bad my other one had gotten. My sister helped me out with the financial side of buying it (I have to pay her back obviously).

We went to see Les Mis and both afternoon showings were sold out except for the front row. As we both didn't fancy having severe neck ache tomorrow, we have decided to try on Tuesday afternoon. I think I'm not destined to see this movie.

I'm looking forward to the tennis tomorrow morning. So pleased that Murray beat Federer. I hope my neighbours are ready - I get very vocal when Murray is playing!!
