Thanks Lou, Beccie and GRC
.
Disappointed about the tennis yesterday. Really wanted him to win
The laptop is taking some getting used to. The keyboard has a different layout, so it's taking ages to type stuff. I'm sure I'll be used to it by the end of the week.
Got our tickets for Les Mis tomorrow. Managed to get them for free as I had enough points on my reward card. Bargain!! Off to see a free movie tonight too. Happy days.

Morning
I am so tired today. Can't keep my eyes open kind of tired. Pepsi is definitely my friend today. A nice healthy dose of Hugh Jackman in Les Mis later should also do the trick.
The film last night (I Give It A Year) was okay. Quite funny in places, but not amazing. There were a couple of blokes talking behind us the whole way through. Could have cheerfully given them a slap. OH told them to shut up in the end.
It's my late nephew Joshua's birthday today. He would have been 7 years old. Can't believe it has been that long. So we're off to the cemetery in a bit to do our traditional releasing balloons and putting flowers down. Unfortunately, it's chucking it down and blowing a gale here today.

Hope the rain eases off for visiting the cemetery later, I love the idea of releasing balloons xDebt at LBM Apr 2010 £28,767 Debt free as of Nov 2013 :j0

- it wasn't raining when we went to the cemetery, but it was very very windy. I'm surprised the balloons didn't carry us away.
Les Mis was brilliant. Even my sister seemed to think it was good (and she hates musicals!). What we didn't realise was that we were seeing the OAP screening that was subtitled. We were the youngest in the cinema by about 30 years!! For once, I wasn't the only one coughing frequently.
I think I've got an eye infection. Not in the eye that had the chicken pox spot, but in the other eye. It's very bloodshot and feels gritty, like there's something in there. I've gone back to wearing my glasses today and will see how it feels tomorrow after a day of not wearing contacts. Might have to head off to the doctors.
OH has announced that we're going to his parents on Friday. Was hoping I could avoid it again, but looks like I'm going to have to endure the visit.

Went to the doctor yesterday about my eye. It's not an infection, but the doctor could see a scratch on my cornea. God knows how I managed that. I've got some antibiotic cream to put in my eye and I can't wear my contacts for the foreseeable future
. The cream really stings when I put it in and I can taste it about 10 minutes after using it
. Still, it's not as bad as when I had the chicken pox.
I'm getting used to my laptop now. OH has managed to put Windows Office on here for me. He does have his uses. Speaking of which, we're off to see his parents tonight and coming back tomorrow evening. Dreading, dreading, dreading.

Good Luck!! :cool:0 -
Hope the eye heals quickly Emz. I remember being able to taste the drops I had after having my eyes lasered, so unpleasant!
Hope you've survived OH's parents xDebt at LBM Apr 2010 £28,767 Debt free as of Nov 2013 :j0 -
Morning
I survived the visit. Had to bite my tongue a few times, but it's over now. They are coming to stay with us in April, only because his mum has the dentist. Hopefully I can dodge another visit until then.
My eye is much better now. I might try to put my contacts in tomorrow. Was supposed to have an eye test today, but they wouldn't do it.
World War 3 started yesterday. My mum has basically told my sister that she doesn't feel up to looking after my nephew whilst she's at work. She looks after him for 25 hours a week, which is really a part time job. She is 68 this year, so I see her point. My sister says that she can't quit her job and can't afford to pay nursery fees. So there's a really bad atmosphere between them, and I feel stuck in the middle because they are both talking to me about it and asking what the other said. Nightmare.
