What's the new board for?

Have you just found out you’re going to be a mum and have no idea what nappies cost?

Mum of several and don’t know how to afford all the school dinners?

If you’re a mum and a MoneySaver this is the place to discuss your MoneySaving issues.

For general questions not related to MoneySaving please post on the Marriage, Relationships & Families board.
Could you do with a Money Makeover?

Erm why are mum and dads separate? Surely they both have similar issues and ideas?

Your really taking this whole segregation thing to the extremes now. There was nothing wrong with how the board was to begin with and believe it or not there were actually expectant FATHERS who post on the pregnancy threads so your cutting those off by putting all those threads under Money Saving Mums. Just like when someone has to leave the less than 12 week pregnant thread due to miscarriage they get it reiterated that there now not going to be a mum.

Just put it back to how it was please!!!!
You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

I think someone needs to have a serious sit down at MSE and decide what you are going to do with the boards!

Every time I log on TTC is in a different place on the boards!!

Why on earth can't everything be on marriage, relationships and families?!

    I don't understand the sub-boards at all - I don't think they are necessary.

Can you not have a poll or something to gain peoples opinions??

And then once a decision is made STICK to it! I'm getting dizzy trying to chase the TTC board!!

............and how do you know if a poster is a mum or a dad or anyone else caring for children unless they say so..........

They have powers which know no bounds.

They will soon get sick of reports asking them to move threads from one place to another and suddenly tell us that as mums and dads usually need to buy the same things, they are merging the boards.

Either tomorrow or in 6 months time I predict.

And does this include step-mums as I would never go into the mums board as I am not one. All very very odd.
If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.

You know what they need... One big board, they could call it, oh, Marriage, Couples and Family perhaps? :D

What was wrong with 'family'? Surely it covers all the different situations where people are raising children, instead of the restrictive and divisive mums and dads.
  • Money saving 'mums'? What about dads or a male same-sex couple?

Moneysaving parents would be more inclusive.
