Sorry your DH is driving you mad at the minute with the shotgun fund. I hope once hes got to £800 he carries on his momentum and helps you with the debts.
Dont even get me started on the school trips, I was having the same conversation with my childminder last night. Why cant they give you more than a few weeks notice !!!!!!! DD has a trip for £14 that needs paying by 15th Feb. I went in and paid it yesterday and the DD comes home saying her teacher had told them all their trips still need paying! I am furious because a. I have paid it and 2 weeks early and b. they shouldnt be debt collecting with the kids as far as im concerned. So im going to speak to the teacher about it tonight. Its so not on!
Hope your ok anyway xx
Hi MTG
Think hubby will have run out of stuff to sell by the time he has his gun.Grrrr. Oh well, at least it has'nt impacted on the budget at all. (Glass is half full and every thing)
Thats naughty that your Dc's teacher is reminding them of the money that is owed.
It did say on one of my Ds's Trip paperwork
"I can / I can not pay £18 for my child to go on this trip".
Trouble is I am too proud and could not let the school know that I am sooo poor that I can't pay:o:o Yes I know, I am silly.
On the Broadband front - We can't get SKY by us, not in range or something silly. Beleive it or not, I have gone back to BT.
Their new customer deals are pretty good, so I have filled the form in online, as soon as I have a start date I will cancel Tesco. (Just got to make sure it is within my 3 months cancellation limit).
I have also got to hope BT will give me the new deal being as I only left them in the beginning of January. What a pain.....
Nevermind, onwards and upwards xxx0 -
Hi I lurk but rarely post but thought I would put a positive spin on the gun issue as we also live a rural life and the gun perhaps could be a bonus in the long run depending on the type of shooting hubby does he might bring home lots of goodies for the freezer if you get my drift and perhaphs you could sell some of these at christmas with the turkeys ( I also has a friend who gives her kids bunny burgers !!!)
your doing really well good luck0 -

#baying going pretty well. Got 14 things on at the moment. Will look up that thread. I had lots to choose from during January, but getting abit thin on the ground now, so might have to find that thread to give me some inspiration.
Thanks xx0 -

I can remember doing up a house rules sheet for my two before they could read and i printed off lots of pictures of children bouncing on sofa's and pulling each others hair etc and put a big red cross through each picture to try to make then understand what they were not allowed to do. Hehe. Not sure it worked too well.
So much easier now they can both read. Both of mine have become quite obstinate lately and felt they needed abit of an incentive to buck their ideas up as moaning obviously isn't working.
will probably make me bankrupt though
HSSteph been following your. thread. and just had to post hoping this stops. the kids ba.krupting you lol
when they. earn their lips that's great but if like my lot depending. on their ages they might only do this for a while so you ha ve to change the value bit like shops put things up. then down. also maybe when they are misbehaving they could loose a pip or 2 just like you you get a£10 late payment CHARGE(naughty mumy) they loose lips too =(naughty kids ) and this is as adaptable as you want it to be after all if its new its more fun you could dare I say it run out of lips now and then. hope this helps i used smiles marbles even buttons that way the kids never worked out how muchthey could get iykwim good. luck with getting back on track2nd purse challenge no040£0 Sealed pot challenge ???? £2 trolley find not counting small coins till end year0 -
