Hello,I have read your post with interest and can empathise with much of it. I have just joined the forum today and am keeping my own spending diary in a notebook, am collating receipts for everything I spend and have haggled with both sky and my mobile phone providor to reduce my bills. I too fritter away around 800 a month on goodness knows what and I need to establish where that money goes as I seem to manage to convince myself that as I don't drink, smoke etc that it's ok."The greatest wealth is health"
Bank of Mum and Dad - £20,000 - 3 years fixed at 3.25% and 2 years variable rate, estimated £22,21 due to end November 2017
Car finance - £10,250.92 over 60 months 9.7% APR, Interest £2612.08, Total £13,906.08 November 2017
HP £1999.47 - 36 months at 0% -March 20160 -
Thanks to everyone who posted.
Hubby has been very clever and found a way for us to connect our laptops to our phones to gain internet connection.
Abit worried that I don't know if this is going to cost me anything?. will have to have a quick search on the internet to try and find out.
Finished my internet Tesco order at the inlaws this afternoon. Was abit annoyed that it came to £61 instead of my budgeted £50, but I checked and rechecked my list and everything was just a very basic shop, not a luxury item in sight, Am hoping I can make it back next week with a £40 shop.
Think its because we needed some toilettries this week and washing powder.
Fingers crossed my Welcome Pack comes soon fron Tesco and I can get my broadband sorted. :mad:0 -
Hello!
I'm going to do a soa for myself I think. I can't understand your figure of 672.5 in your summary.
My maths isn't always the best so I will probably be missing something. Can you help
Hi Istabraq,
Welcome to MSE and thanks for looking at my diary.

£35??
Not a chance! Bloomin daylight robbery
Quick update on the P0stalcashforgold.
They rang me back on Friday and low and behold upped their offer from £35 up to £185 .
I had figured out that if I was lucky I could have gotten maybe £200 for my weight of gold.
Just for speed purposes and that I could'nt be bothered to wait heaven knows how long to get my gold posted back, I accepted.
Good lesson for me and anyone reading though - Do NOT accept their first offer .

If it's what I'm thinking of, you are sharing your personal hotspot so it's coming out of your mobile phone internet allowance, and if you don't go over your limit, it shouldn't cost
I bought DS2 an i-pod for Xmas, and he connects wirelessly in the house, but can't get an internet signal away from the house. So if we are together outside, I 'share' my hotspot with him and he connects via my internet. Just keep an eye on the 'my useage' bit on your phone.Emergency savings: £0 saved / £4000 target0 -

Lordy that is a big leap in the correct direction. I wish I had some gold to sell but we have nowt. DH, for years, wore a gold chain, and when I suddenly remembered about it and asked where it was, he said he'd lost it ages ago and couldn't remember the last time he'd worn it. I've never been into buying gold jewellery and never had any bequeathed to me either.Emergency savings: £0 saved / £4000 target0 -

Afternoon Diary
Just managed to pay £200 of my N#xt account. Glad to get that under the 1k mark now.
Will hopefully pay £300 off the L1ttlewoods Catalogue next week, but hubby is starting a new building contract and its always abit hairy at the beginning, hoping the new customer is happy to pay weekly.
Poor DD is off school today, she was awake all night with painful ears. Dr confirmed that she has ear infections in each ear. She has some anti-biotics. Hate giving them to the children but guess there is no option sometimes.
Waiting patiently (not) for the post today. Hoping that my Welcome Pack arrives from Tesco for my Broadband. Have a nasty feeling its going to be a long wait though.
Not much else going on today.
Hope everyone is doing ok.
My internet is VERY slow using it through my phone so not sure if I can manage to check out everyones diaries.
Will catch up as soon as I am connected properly again.
