but under the present rule changes granny is still hanging onto her 3 bed house ...

    Well she shouldn't.

I don't think age should make any difference.

Up to a point I'd agree - over a certain age, not so much.

But you haven't shown any evidence that the numbers are high enough, just 'simple logic', that is the bit I am struggling with.

I haven't shown any evidence that mice haven't set foot on the moon, yet you accept that.

Unless you can demonstrate that the demand for those two-bedroom properties is dominated by single mothers, it is irrelevant. All it proves it that more people bid on two-bedroom properties in Bradford than three-bedroom properties during the month of October.

Again, you misrepresent my words. I haven't said "dominate".... I said "driven". If you could read the actual words I use, rather than imagine the ones you THINK I use, you may find it less of a struggle to understand this very simple concept.

Okay, yet again, what evidence do you have that demand for two-bedroom, social housing properties is DRIVEN by first time mums/single parents with one child?

A simple question that you have skirted around for the last few pages.

Jumping in here, but as a family of 5 of us, had to live in a 2/3 bed council house, I dont think requesting a single person to move from their 2 bed house into a 1 bed is that big a deal tbh.

    *shrug* I said it.

So you don't have any, thanks for the confirmation.

Careful there, *Kat*, that's anecdotal and, according to Morlock DAS IS VERBOTEN!

    Still at it then?
Hi, Lighting up the Chalice...still trying to be a normal human being, using argument in the way 99% of people do. (Sorry about the uncited stat)
Hi, Troglodyte/morlock...or should it be Gradgrind (Facts, facts give me facts,sir)...still not accepting any opinion not empirically based?
