I have a leaflet that came with my compost bin that says specifically do not put dog and cat poo in. HTH

good grief no! nothing meaty, dogs eat meat so you want to stay well away from that. I wouldn't want to turn your compost with dog poo in it - tee hee.:rotfl: :rotfl: Horse poo however is fine as they just eat hay and grass.

Thanks ! Am loving my composter too, our wheelie bin goes out now only half full so I should be able to cope with 2 weekly collection when its enforced.

I am so keen to get my new compost bin started. but .... it looks like I might be moving in the not too distant future.

so I dont know what to do, is it best to leave my compost bin all nice and clean and then move it with me? I certainly dont want to leave it behind; I'm hoping to have a proper veg garden etc when I move. I'm a bit gutted because I was raring to go with it, but now I'm glad I waited. Great to be moving of course but I am impatient to start composting!!! Am I sad or what? :D
