Hi Everyone
reporting total disaster in December, Hope to do better next year !!!
Lost totals in the Christmas madness.Do I need it or just want it.0 -
Well done everyone for either coming on target, or doing their best to track and minimize their spends!
Going out tonight and won't have any spends tomorrow because I have everything in (and don't plan to leave my bed, if it ends up being a good evening!).
Final spend of 55p today brings my total to a respectable £102.34/£135 - my lowest spend of the year :TGrocery Challenge Jan 24 0/300
Grocery Challenge 13 -spent £1453.06
Grocery Challenge 12 -spent £1565.510 -
Haven't been online much over the last couple of weeks. Had a sit down today and went over my receipts. Just under €9 over budget, which is entirely down to an unexpected splurge the day before Xmas eve. Still, not bad given the number of people I ended up cooking for over the month. Back down to more sensible levels for January
Hope everyone had a lovely holiday and happy new year!0 -
I've just totalled everything up following my last grocery trip of 2012 and am please to report we were £40.30 under budget! And I've bought loads of reduced goodies to go in the freezer, so hopefully we will have a cheap January! :beer:Swagbucks Amazon gift vouchers 2014 125/250

OH went to the Mr M twice yesterday:
Small loaf 75p
Sausages £1.69
Mushrooms £1
Lorne sausage x2 £2
Tomatoes 75p
Milk 89p
Orange juice £1
Cranberry juice £1
M Beans x2 78p
Potato scones x2 £1.20
Bacon £2.55
M Mayo 98p
Wraps £1
Coke x2 £2
£17.59 total, bringing me to £253.96, which is a wee bit over budgethe did need to go shopping as we were making a cooked breakfast for a couple of houseguests this morning, but he bought too much meat (extra stashed in the freezer), and I would have bought value mushrooms, wraps and mayonnaise plus only one tin of beans, so I reckon I could have maybe squeezed under if I'd gone. Oh well - see you in January!

Think I need to go and buy milk tomorrow so I will allow myself £10 for the weeks milk plus anything else we might need....
Declaring £540/£620
I've just rechecked my adding up of receipts and it came to £430, £20 less spent, I also spent £7 on milk and some YS's instead of the budgeted £10.
