I have just totted up some receipts for the past 2 weeks and unfortunately have come in over budget. Grrr.
Knew I would though, as made a couple of unnecessary impulse purchases during the month. But it's Christmas! I think you are allowed to at Christmas!Because it's fun to have money!

Evening everyone,
DH popped to T's today for a couple of bits. £11 odd to declare, which means I'm over for December by £15. Not too bad considering this included most of the Christmas food, although not alcohol which is from a different budget.
Going to try to reduce the budget for January to £475. This is quite radical as we have been overbudget for the last three months, but the name of the game is 'challenge' right? We now have a L!dl closeby, so will be giving this a try for at least two of the weeks shopping trips.
Will be checking this thread until 31st December to catch any budgets.
