€22.50 spent at farm shop today 2 dozen eggs, veg for the week and two big bottles of Curiosity Cola for the Christmas hamper (now just need some spiced rum to go with it! Yum!
) Made lemon curd and jam from my own chillis as well. Very productive altogether!
Spent part of my shopping voucher from MIL as well, but that ain't coming out of my bank account so doesn't count towards my total - though hopefully I'll be well under budget as a result. Have enough flour, bread flour, pasta and rice to keep me going well into new year now.0 -
Bluegreen143 That looks really good, very well balanced and interesting - how do you do your satay sauce/marinade?
I spent £42.02 in Azbos and have a £1.69 APG and a £5 off £40 so I'm happy.
Waiting for the rice to have with our curry. Have a good evening everyone

My December starts today - £120 budget. I'm going to family from Xmas Eve to the 27th so will have a few days less to cater for but will keep my usual budget as it is Xmas!
I have visitors this weekend and have spent £11 in Mr Ts today on extra dog food, cakes and unnecessary bits
Will be doing the weekly food shop tomorrow - will aim for about £20 as I don't need much.0 -
Well my pastry ended up as a quiche in the end! Didnt get to Lidl so no butternut squash. Bought bacon offcuts in Iceland and found 2 biggish chunks of gammon in them plus some slices for the quiche. Slow roasted the gammon with foil over while I cooked quiche and baked pots on higher shelves. Also got half price chicken thighs(mainly for the cat)A fairly productive day cooking and I used a £3 off till spit in Iceland. Spent £25.50-my "kids" topped it up with their spends so I used the voucher. Got more till spits for £2 off £20 and £6 off £40-if you have an Iceland swipe card you get these!! The £6 one is especially good.
DS has been taking his packed lunches to work and I am glad too say he doesnt have time to leave work for the shops at lunchtime! Very moneysaving for him. DD wanted juice and cola etc so she had to buy that herself as I said I was only buying squash. Fancy extras they have to pay for themselves-although I do buy fresh juice most weeks. I am only paying for "proper food" and economical stuff. Got a little money coming in at long last in the way of bereavement benefit. Still waiting for hubbys private pension to come through. Going very careful meanwhile.Annual Grocery budget 2018 is £1500 pa £125 calendar month £28.84 pw for 3 adults0 -
Hi,
Can I join please? We spend far too much on groceries per month (family of 4 plus cat) and it's something I definately need to work on!
My grocery budget for December is £500
This is taking the Christmas excess into consideration and will revise amount for January.
Thanks
