Do you give mortgage advice according to client's star sign?I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. I volunteer to help get your forum questions answered and keep the forum running smoothly. Forum Ambassadors are not moderators and don't read every post. If you spot an illegal or inappropriate post then please report it to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com (it's not part of my role to deal with this). Hey don't have a pop at Payless, we have him to thank for the creation of the mortgage forum with Martin in the first place.
As for who touts for business, it doesnt need anyone to point out who those guilty of it are as it is obvious to everyone by the content of their posts.
Yawn..................................................................
This forum is no longer the one I joined and used to enjoy contributing to.
The whole touting thing !!!!es me off - both the ones who do it and those who tar the rest of us with the same brush.
All I can say is that I'm glad the fact that I ave a business to run and clients to look after means I don't have the time to spend all day here.I am an IFA (and boss o' t'swings idst)You should note that this site doesn't check my status as an IFA, so you need to take my word for it. This signature is here as I follow MSE's Mortgage Adviser Code of Conduct. Any posts on here are for information and discussion purposes only and shouldn't be seen as financial advice.0 -

HelpWhereIcan please do not leave a sinking ship,we need the Captain otherwise the pirates will over run us.
I do not wish to become involved in the touting saga,I will leave that decision to the moderators, but what does concern me is the cruel manner in which some posters are responded to by one particular broker, who has started posting here constantly, very arrogant and patronising, belittling those with simple questions ,who are perhaps not in his hunting ground. To be happy you need to make someone happy.0 -
Please let us return to the forum that Payless remembers, and run these touts and their hangers on out of town.To be happy you need to make someone happy.0

I did a session of hypnotherapy for someone today, free of charge, since I knew that they were desperate but couldn't afford to pay. £100's worth. I know that it will come back to me in other ways.
Great Idea Shameless I will give it to the first deserving charity or person I see. Perhaps I shall start a thread on my charitable fiver and see where it goes and how much I make.
It's nice to know someone else here isnt full of greed end envyI like to give people as many choices as possible to do what I want them to. (Milton H Erickson I think)0 -

No I would see that as touting for business. He is welcome to PM me if he wishes.
