I agree with your comments on payless, he is a good guy, however every broker on this forum who consistently helps forum users should be given the same respect, regardless of how long they have been here - although sadly a number of the regulars no longer come here due to the frequent attacks by the broker bashers and now the trainee broker bashers - sadly one even changed his handle and no longer declares his statusI am a Mortgage Adviser

Those that dis-agree are wrong . I have not even followed the thread and I care little about the content, but I feel that it is the right of every individual to be able to go to arbitration to assume that your opinion is correct and all others are wrong is socially unacceptable in a community such as this.
You havent read the thread but feel you can comment.
The poster didnt seek any advice and the product has done exactly what it should have. What grounds is there for her to complain about?I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -

My response is plain and simple abide by the rules, this is not a forum for you and friends it belongs to us all.
It has of late been infiltrated by bullies and touts ,who feel that they can ride rough shod over the rules ,well they are wrong, brokers like Payless assisted in the creation of this sites ethics and those who believe that they can criticize and demean the community spirit will face stiff opposition. To be happy you need to make someone happy.0 -

Perhaps we should introduce triage, just select the few that are believed correct, once again I suggest that you remain within your expertise. To be happy you need to make someone happy.0 -

I dont mean to sound petty here kenshaz but I have appealed to your better nature twice in this thread. You are not here to police the forums, if you dont like something report it to abuse and let them deal with it. You have been warned once about you behavior towards mortgage brokers and told to cool it. Seems you are firing up again and its not just my back you are getting up this time. Funny we were all getting along just fine and the forum was working nicely until you starting picking on someone who is not even fully qualified yet - and we know the reason its glaringly obvious to anyone who knows the history of the signature. Its not the signature you are overly bothered about, you are just hacked off because she recommended another broker openly.
A second point I would like to make. No offence to payless he's a great guy but he is a human being so stop referring to him as though he is some sort of god that you daren;t upset because he had an input in bringing the board to what it is today. Yes he;s good at his job and he's well respected, by me as well. But where is he of late? His imput into the mortgage boards over recent months has been absolutely minimal. You might want to try and have a bit more respect for us that are actually here most days doing good work.I am a Mortgage Adviser

From my horoscope in today's Daily Mail - I had to laugh when I read it -
"The World is full of people who love to irritate other people. They take pleasure in making contentious statements. We know this and guard against it, yet we still fall for the trick. One minute we feel fine - calm, clear and relaxed. The next, someone says something and we are off! Agitated, irritated and upset. Expect to be surrounded as ever by folk who seemingly take delight in being awkward, but also expect everything to be fine, as long as you don't take the nonsense too seriously."
Says it all, doesn't it?0 -
