Unilever is the promoter not Boots they are who are legally liable
Had two Emails one phone call
Need an explaination was it Scammers, Human error or computer glitch
Hoover went bust over something like this free flights they had to honour
Took my lot out to celebrate dissapointed0 -
I was lucky and didn't have a chance to check my emails for most of the day so I only had 30 seconds of excitement before I opened the second one to see that I hadn't actually won. Still - grr!!0

How many of you will go to Boots and ONLY spend the £10 voucher ?

I didn't put my advantage card number in cus I couldn't be bothered to go and get it, hope they send out these emails soon! I want my points!
I shop at Boots all the time anyway, so not really a 'scam' for people like me when I'll just be buying my usual shampoo...for free.0 -

.
You're not really just giving the points back though are you, I'd presume you'd get £10 worth of goods in return! (Admittedly overpriced goods that are not worth £10 - unless you hang on to your points till the 75% off sale, in which case you'll just about pay a fair price!)

Bit of a kick in the old love spuds. When I got the email I thought it looked liked a "sorry you haven't won this time" email, but was still fooled .It came from a generic email address, whenever I have won a prize the email is from a person at the organisation.
Hope whoever made the mistake is given a bit of leeway, like many have said we all make mistakes.0 -

As I said earlier, how many people will go to Boots and ONLY spend the £10 voucher ?
It's a ploy to get you into the store
Then the mind games begin0 -
I think it's a bit churlish to criticise Boots and claim it's some sort of scam. Nobody is perfect, mistakes happen. 1000 points is better than nothing.0
