  • Sent an email to CPP on Monday, (Bank Holiday( had en email back on the same day saying they were looking into it. Had a letter today refunding all the premiums for the three years I had the policy, (it covered me my husband and daughter) I had taken this out by trying to activate a new card by phoning the number on the sticker on the card. this inculded identity theft. Premiums approx £420, getting back approx £620 with the 8% interest.
Result!! what a quick turn around Yaay:rotfl::money:
Hi - do you have the e-mail address for CPP - this is a good option but cannot find the address anywhere.

    Thanks

  • Well, couldn't find a template letter to use, so wrote my own and posted it first class on Monday.

CPP left a message on my phone today, asking me to call them about my claim.

What's the chances that they are going to argue with me about it and/or try to persuade me that I don' have a legitimate clam?

Reading through this thread, other people have reported sending in a claim and receiving money from CPP within a couple of weeks - I hope that I am as lucky!

Wow - I didn't think I was dumb enough to get caught by any of these mis-selling wheezes, but have had CPP since 2007! Thanks to MSE's article in November (which I only came across on a search today) I have contacted CPP to start a mis-selling claim. Thanks MSE!

What website? You should never use a claims company.

I made a claim to CPP in December 2012. They said it was nothing to do with them contact MBNA. Contacted MBNA and received a reply in February 2013 saying they had investigated and it was nothing to do with them but they had passed details to Lloyds Bank. They just gave me an address Lloyds Banking Group Customer Services BX1 1LT. Not received any reply from Lloyds. Not given a phone number so I suppose I will get the run-a-round again when I try to contact them!

As an ex employee at CPP, i can say the way they treat staff was disgusting, they forced staff members to hard sell products that are already covered by the bank, we had to get a 'no' three times regardless or age, and then were told to sell on welcome pack (ie say we will send the info out but actually set the policy up), if you did not do this you were herded into an office and threatened with dismissal etc...terrible firm
