So people are no longer allowed to voice their dissatisfaction then? Esp with a system broken from the outset AND one in which they are told the MUST use or suffer sanctions?

Considering many of the posters on this thread are the end users of UJM and are laughingly referred to as 'customers', I'd have thought Messer's Smith, Hoban and the DWP at large would be grateful for any customer feedback.

After all, it seems highly unlikely that any usability testing was carried out with UJM, which is simply the latest in a verrrry long line of government IT !!!! ups over the years!

Creating junk websites & junk internet activity doesn't really help people.

No? So just what DO you mean by "The Big Whinge"? I was merely trying to interpret your few words on the subject. Perhaps you need to explain yourself and make yourself clearer. As obviously John539 and I are completely wide of the mark!

One years time...."The Universal Job Match site has been a huge success with over 4 million people registering in the last year. Well worth the tens of millions of pounds we have invested in its conception." Ian Duncan Smith

Failing to mention that the majority have been forced to register using threats of benefit sanctions.

I read today that .gov.uk 'Gateway', has won a web design award - presumably not the same as what is being discussed here, but the initial website, that links to all services that the Government provide; that eventually requres ALL users, public, or those on the dole to use a personal log in system, therefore being a NI type identifying number, ie a national identity card, by means of the back door, as per usual.

I'm certain that someone can post a link/clarify this, it's beyond a joke, and Morlock has the ability to see the future!

It's important to keep threads topical, and up to date, there is no need for backhanded comments, or over excessively long threads - hard to keep up with, admin?

how the hell could that website win anything other than the stupidly complex award for doing simple things.

I hear on the grapevine, that all Government services, are being transferred to this online service..So your Granny collecting her pension, someone going for a council house, paying you Council tax, is directed thru this 'Gateway', and need a user ID to log in.

Then they sack all council/private workers to save money (hence why they have been on strike recently)..

But the dole 'cleverly', state use library computers....unfortunately those libraries have been closed down, I presume dss centres are setting up an area for people to search online, as they removed the jobpoints and desks?

Classic tale of the Government - Give with one hand, take with the other....

I'm begging to believe that when the Queen dies, there might be a revolution, nobody wants Charles, they prefer William, the recent mini riots at Football, what's that about? Fighting amongst yourselves? Better weather brings the riot'ers out, I presume come the summer, we will have Civil war.

The Government just can't seem to make a decision, then u-turn on it, but I believe bedroom tax, is a tax too far. Middle classes rising up. Those that get tax relief, when they don't actually need it, and the Elderly, getting Winter payments, when they are loaded anyway....

    Discuss..it's a forum.

OAP's are loaded? Really? My mum gets a state pension and lives in an over draft so no, not loaded at all.

Don't be pedantic; the MAJORITY, not the vain. You keep posting random...but cannot justify your posts; to the edge of spamming?
