On your written diary you are meant to put the whole link of the job advert, the job title, the ref number, who you applied to and when you are going to chase it up - its the same thing

I have never been interogated in fact I have been told not to list all the jobs I do as its far too much!

You are ONLY talking about jobs on UJM though - if you apply via another site there is NO proof on a diary online or written that you have applied unless they are going to check and they do not.

Whilst that is true, it is not to great a leap for an adviser to say they want copies of your 'sent' emails. If you think that is a big brother issue, it was in the original guidance for UJ that advisers could insist on that. Don't be surprised to see it being used once both advisers and claimants are all au fait with UJ.

What sent emails? 99% of applications done online are not via email but via the site the advert for the job is on. Hit the apply button, sign in and bobs your uncle.

I've never written anything more than 'applied at such and such, no vacancies' in the paper diary and was never told I had to do more. But it's dodgy if they continue seeing that and they can flick through your diary at any point and try and question you in which case you better have an answer.

Likewise, I applied for 14 jobs and the woman seemed shocked even though a few weeks earlier she said apply for 7 jobs a week. I think she meant the '7 efforts to look for work' rather than apply but I'm managing to find 14 jobs just about. But sending your the cv is easier than writing up some malarkey like 'looked in friday ad - no suitable jobs' then having to deal with questions or the chance my 'adviser' has seen the friday ad paper and knows it's BS.
Then you seriosuly have issues where tou sign as they are obviously not checking it properly.

Shocked at 14 or 7 jobs? I am talking a whole booklet filled in and more so in 2 weeks.

I only ever write down the jobs I have applied for not what I have done to look for work or I will be filling in a booklet every day!

No one would ever write 'looked on gaapweb and found nothing' what will I do 'look again' when 'tomorrow'!

I claim income based so maybe i'm treated differently but all my adviser does is glance at my sheet. I don't think the last one even looked at it. When i wasn't on benefit i felt that i was applying for jobs because i want/needed to. Now i'm on benefit i feel like i have to because someone is checking up on me, even when they aren't really!

I am on income based too and you should not be treated any differently if there is a policy in place

Nonsense. There are plenty of job seek - I mean, claimants - who do, indeed, do that.

I have never written that. Why woudl you? I look at 8am and there are no new jobs. So do I write I looked and then look again at 10am and see a job and apply?

there was a small news story about uc in the mirror today. it said in your new agreement you must agree with an adviser what tasks you will do each day and if you dont do them you risk a sanction. so really it seems like its just a change from the current weekly tasks to a daily version. i will just ask them straight out. whats the minimum required? i will then say ok put that. never agree to anymore than the minimum even if you do do more. if you agreed to loads and then had a week where you were ill or had a bereavement you would be stuffed as you may not manage to do everything in times like that.

That is impossible as you can not spend all day at the provider.
They have no facilities for that. I bet the JC do not know this however.

Like I said on a previous post there was one girl on a cv writing course who had no pc at home and she was just told book an appointment with your advisor to complete the CV.
