without wanting to get involved in the argument here this point is often true. they have underpaid my ni and fob me off when i ask them to sort it out. they are well known for refering people for sanctions who shouldnt be. and just to be fair i do acknowledge some who work there are decent people who treat people fairly and with common sense. sadly they are in the minority.

Well I disagree as 1st off the job centre do not pay your ni the benefit delivery centre does...so it would be them you need to speak to not jcp.

I would say its a minority that are bad as you will find in most companies, if if we're the majority we would have uproars in the jc everyday but we don't it's very few and far between

If this was the case, Why do most Job Centres need dozens of guards?

Good point! And also why do the couple of JC's I walk past often have smashed and cracked windows / glass?

they do the bizzo on the computer when i sign so that i get paid. surely they are also putting through whats needed for me to get my ni credited? i phoned up dwp and got someone clueless who just sent me part of the record that shows what i was paid in benefit for the peroid in question. it is titled tax request form. i did not ask for anything related to tax. i am going to phone them again next week and if i get no joy i will be seeking legal advice. if they get a letter from a solicitor they will soon s**t their pants and sort it out.
as far as the performance of the staff goes what annoys me is they seem to be able to make very big mistakes and suffer no consequence.

    4) Evidence from the likesof CH4 news who revevealed that A4e found just 4% of its clients job outcomes out of a paltry govt target of a mere 5%.

That assumes the WP exists to find jobs for individuals. IMHO it doesn't exist for this purpose - the WP exists simply to place significant barriers in front of claimants with the outcome being to close their claims down - to this end I suspect it is working pretty well indeed.

Well that's a bit of an exaggeration the max I've ever seen in one office is 4, mine has 3 and 5 and a half thousand customers.

All the fjr team do is update a dialogue on the system to say you have signed they do not process benefit!

What kind of staff mistakes are you referring to?

An update to my earlier reply:

    http://watchinga4e.blogspot.co.uk/

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/9699273/Just-one-in-20-aided-by-back-to-work-scheme.html

So even the new Employment Sec Mark Hoban is admitting the WP is failing miserably and is as much use as a cardboard submarine!

"He declined to disclose the forthcoming official figures, but said: “I’m very focused on ensuring that work programme providers do perform. It’s in the interest of people who are unemployed. It’s in the interest of those work programme providers to get their act together. I think we can see some positive signs but I think there is some distance to go still..." - Mark Hoban

Pathetic for a program with a total budget of FIVE BILLION POUNDS!!! The governments only option seems to hope the WP providers can turn the sinking oil tanker around in an increasing time frame.

Still, the admission from Hoban shows the likes of CH4 News were on the money with regards A4e's poor performane. Looks increasingly like A4e's figures were representative of the whole sorry program.

    You shouldn't be scared.

You don't have to give DWP access to your account. You know you did not have to tick that box giving DWP access, that was optional.

Universal Job Match website has only just started, it has some problems, so take your time getting used to it, just like JC staff are getting used to it.

Keep a separate written record and you have your email record.

Thanks very much for your response, I'm hoping it is just down to temporary teething problems on DWP's part otherwise I may well be posting on the subject again :)

To placate, control, subjugate the revolting poor & masses.

That's why increasingly punitive rules are so petty & controlling.

The job of Jobcentre staff is to implement them & the government ideology.
