He's wrong! We can view account activity in the sense of jobs applied for, saved searches etc.

The bes thing I can say is ask your advisor to show you one of the test accounts so you can see exactly what we see. That way you have a chance to put your mind at ease should you decide to sign up.

I think people need to stop scaring people on here into thinking that every advisor out there is bad and wants to impose sanctions. Most of us just want to help our customers achieve their job goals.
Jobcentre/DWP need to inform jobseekers, not just staff, they need to show them what is happening, as its their account, private data & online activity.

It should be Jobcentre's/advisor duty to show them screens & give information.

It's not surprising people start making their own minds up, in an information vacuum, with punitive measures being adopted by government & stories coming out from DWP & in media.

If a customer is not complying the a sanction needs to be imposed..... You can't reffer to a descision maker for the sake of it.

Then the "customer" who is sanctioned will take to sanctioning the advisor who stopped their benefits with their whatever part of their body they decide to use.
Today whilst i was at the jobcentre signing someone was escorted out of the building for hitting something. I didnt see who or what they hit.
Stopping peoples benefits ISN'T the way to get people back into work, creating jobs those people can do is, but this current government doesnt think that way.
Everytime i turn on the news all i hear is this company is closing, comets is going into admin, some bank are cutting 10,000 jobs yet only have 6,000 people in the UK, and some other company is cutting its work force. Yet according to Camemoron he is given tax breaks to new companies bringing their business to the UK. problem is this companies are bring in their OWN staff to fill the jobs they are creating.
But if camermoron wants the crime rate to rise especially attacks on jobcentre staff, more people on the sick due to ill health brought on by stress /worrying about how they are going to buy the food for the week, pay rent, gas, electric, water, clothing, and family, then his certainly going the RIGHT way about it.
And yes I have been sanction for upto 7months before now, i've been sanctioned about 30times in the past 20years, 9 of those sanction for 3 of the same reasons.
1 reason 3 sanctions applied 1 month after the innital sanction.
aka get sanctioned for 1 reason, wait 1 month and get another 2 sanctions for the same date, same reason, not a new sanction for something else, making a total of 7months.
Hell i even thru my signing book at them and didnt sign on for those 7 months only for them to try and sanction me for 6months again after i re-signed on 7months 1day later, "as i didnt do the 6month sanction" as the advisor put it. yet i still went 7months without any benefits. As i've always said Jobcentre Advisor LIKE STOPPING PEOPLES BENEFITS. and now thanks to the tories given them more power the ability to stop it for upto 3 years, I'm just waiting for the news to say Jobcentre staff member killed by jobseeker for having their benefits stopped for 3 years or 1year.

    .

Crime rate goes up? attacks on jobcentre staff?

    Are you serious?

What moron turns to crime and also attacks jobcentre staff?

Why did you get sactioned so many times? Was it due to one of these reasons?

I do not know any sane person who would think the unemployed do this!!!

Once a thief always a thief - unemployment doesn't make you a criminal.

Nonsense. If someone has no other means of feeding themselves what are they to do? It is theft to steal bread from a supermarket, no matter if without stealing that bread death was a certainty. Yet no one would condemn someone for doing so or brand them a thief for life.

you do not need to register to use the site

I am not (yet) but I can see jobs & how to apply

You cannot use all the features of the site unless you register, if you are not registered, you will be deemed to not be doing all that you can to find work and your benefits will be stopped.

From the mouth of a JC adviser I spoke to earlier, if you are not registered to use their site you are not making enough effort to look for work,a basic JSA requirement, to prove you are actively seeking employment.
