Ba Amex no problems if some of the shop smalls didn't work they refunded straight away.

Problems here, too, with BMI Amex (MBNA). Days to reply re misssing credit, and now they're having to refer elsewhere. Further delay of around a week, they say.

Mine was fine for some of the transactions but not for all of them. The problem is that they take days to resolve anything.

Amex customer service is pretty good. MBNA's is awful.

We have 3 separate BMI accounts, and only have problems with one account (apart from the 3 retailers on shop small promo, which Didnt work on any of my cards)

I've noticed the offers come and go, for example debenhams isn't available on my iPhone app.

If I've already loaded the card, will it still work even though the special seems to have vanished?

The data on foursquare is very flaky. Regardless of whether you've loaded or not, I would just use your card and then call Amex to check. I got Debenhams redeemed recently despite forgetting to even check in and load the offer

They credited Debenhams £50 2 days after the transactions were posted so no different to when I load to card. One wonders if you need to load any of the offers really as it seems like synching the card is enough

I bought 2 £50 gift cards on two separate transactions with 2 different cards. I have checked in and loaded the offer with both accounts linked to my 2 amex cards.

However, I have received the foursquare notification only in the first case but not the other.

Do you think I will have to request amex's intervention for the second card or sometimes the notification just doesn't come through?

As per my post above, I don't think you need to even check in or load. It's only the synching that matters. Amex would have credited my account whether I'd contacted them or not

Wait until 2 days after the transaction is statemented
