Can I just ask people with more than 1 Amex card, how do you load more than one to the same smartphone?

Myself and OH both have an Amex and I was considering applying for another one (and then adding him to the account so we have 2 more), but unsure how this would work?

    Thanks in advance

Just load and then log off with one foursquare account and then log in and load with another

Yes, I think email address (or Facebook username) has to be unique

Yes. If you use Gmail then you can suffix your email with +whatever. For example becsxxx+goldcard@gmail.com. That way you don't need a load of different email accounts, but you can have unlimited unique addresses.

Anyone had any joy with retrospective claims? Let's say, for example, a foolish cardholder went to Debenhams on Oxford St on his lunch, bought £100 of vouchers on two cards, realised he'd not checked in or loaded to either card, and then checked in and loaded an hour later with a view to calling Amex and trying to claim over the phone :)

You could try emailing them at

    registeredcardsupport@aexp.com

and explaining the reason for the problem. If they initially say they cannot help, suggest replying asking them to reconsider.

Thanks. Do you know how quickly they reply to emails to this address? I have a PRGold card
  • They replied very quickly the first time - saying they could not help. I didn't get a reply to my second email asking them to reconsider, so resent it and got a reply the next day.

Cheers, I've emailed them through the online secure message email to kick things off. Will update this thread with the outcome in case anyone else does the same

Hi, if you press load after the transaction but did it before it posted (i.e. a couple days later) to your account, you will still get the credit.
