I missed out, having decided to move my potential stake to my maxi ISA account. Oh Well, win some, lose some.
Now 208p.
It could have easily gone the other way……
Its risk one takes…0 -
Sold mine 1400 at 212.16p a nice £710 profit. Dealing cost £19.50
My view is the small allocation i received dosn`t justify holding.May buy in future

Interested what Midnight Cowboy thinks today......let's hear from you0

Well, I did a 180 and bought in the end, despite the negativity.
Citywire call it a "sparkling debut" - slipped back a bit from 214p high, but I think I'll hold for now."Success is the ability to go from failure to failure without losing your enthusiasm" (Sir Winston Churchill)0 -
HL have told me to get my £5k back and profit into my bank account I need to write them a letter with my bank details……..
Hope this is of use to someone else who wants the cash back into their bank account..
This is a ridiculous situation where a BACS payment, authorised online, to your linked bank account is the obvious solution. I spoke to a chap at HL a couple of days ago and he assured me that this matter is one of their top priorities and should be resolved within a year.
I have to say that I have not used Hargreaves sharedealing service for some time, finding Hoodless Brennan a better all round service but I will keep an open mind :-)PLEASE DO NOT STEAL

As an HL client for over 5 years i have found that online account development is least of their priorities
I agree with you on the HL share dealing service. Its expensive and very restrictive, one cant even set limit orders for free online!
I have been using Etrade for past few weeks as a trial. Cheap dealing fees but got to admit not as good as selftrade. Etrade don’t even allow stop loss limit orders!
How easy is Hoodless Brennan system? Can one set up stop loss limit orders with them? And how do they notify clients when a limit order has been executed?0 -
Just spoken to H-L re: getting back the surplus cash from my Vantage Share account.
Options are to request a cheque on line (you have to log on to your Vantage Share account, then click on the "account administration" tab), or you can download a form to post to H-L to request a free BACs payment (or £25 by CHAPs).
Just posting mine off now, might as well have their pitiful interest while awaiting its safe return..."Success is the ability to go from failure to failure without losing your enthusiasm" (Sir Winston Churchill)0 -

But I do have one question: who on earth is buying at that price? There must be buyers; that's how the market works. But the question any serious investor should be asking themselves right now is: WHY are they buying at that price? What do they know that we don't? Are they fools, or smart cookies?
It has got to be Allshare/FTSE250 Trackers forced buyers, and they'll track it all the way back down too, this is very high beta, as you say 40 times current earnings which is well over twice the market average...
DYORIf it takes a man a week to walk to walk a fortnight how long does it take a fly with tackity boots on to walk through a barrel of treacle?0 -

If you dont need the money straight away, you can buy a money market fund. This grows like a saving account. that's what I did today for the extra cash I had in my account. HTH.0
