I just sold mine received £2901.29
Initial Cost £2240
Profit: £661.29
ROI: 29%
I could have held on to them longer. I noticed a bit later in the morning the price rose a bit higher. But not been greedy considering I was in 2 minds intitially about the IPO but decided to go it. Not just decided to sell it while i was making a very quick decent profit!
Thanks for starting this thread as it has been great to hear the different views.0 -

I've also got 5,000 shares and well pleased at the price increase - I'm inclining to hold on for the moment as i'd heard speculation about HL being a takeover target in the autumn.
Anyone else holding?0 -
Very well done to those confident enough to go with the offer.
I thought it was overvalued at £750M, what do I know, at 213p the business is valued at over £1,000M!If it takes a man a week to walk to walk a fortnight how long does it take a fly with tackity boots on to walk through a barrel of treacle?0 -
I wanted to order 25k but had to order only 10k in the end cos they would not take my debit card. I was fuming.
They gave me 4480£ worth of shares and now have a profit of 1500£. :-)0 -
I have just been allocated 1,400 shares.
What is "the norm" in an IPO like this ie well oversubscribed, rapid price increase on opening. Is the price going to drop soon , as people make a fast buck and sell up while the going is good, and maybe people feel it is overpriced (if it is) or will it get higher over coming weeks.
What do you reckon, sit tight or flog it now ?
I wish I had applied for 10k worth then I would have sold half now. Keeping only half now I dont think is worth the trouble.0 -
Congratulations to those who had courage in their convictions with regard to this offer.
Obviously I am annoyed that my gut feeling over this was wrong because I did not apply for the shares but at the same time I am pleased that others who did apply have done well. The premium is so high that there is a choice to sell now or hang on and watch the price with enough margin to absorb a bit of turbulence.
Just another thought - with the release of purchaseable shares currently limited to 25%, a takeover is not possible as messrs H & L have the controlling slice/chunk of this company @ 75% - takeover speculation will not be a factor in the current share price.PLEASE DO NOT STEAL

So much for P/E ratios ! Well done to customers now making an instant profit.
I missed out, having decided to move my potential stake to my maxi ISA account. Oh Well, win some, lose some.
Now 208p.0 -
HL have told me to get my £5k back and profit into my bank account I need to write them a letter with my bank details……..
Hope this is of use to someone else who wants the cash back into their bank account..0
