you have to look at furture earnings as well.
If I remember well, HL said they increased their profits by 50% last year. The market is certainley anticipating such an increase for next year.
I think the fact that more and more people are relying on the internet to sort out their finances and investments will help HL as they are the cheapeast. Anyone who makes a minimum effort will know that.0 -
as you can tell by the rest of this msg.i am getting on a bit,but this stock reminds me so much of mercury asset management about 10 years ago i think they went from 2.25 gbp to 14.00 gbp in a few years,i sold out too early. in the end they were taken over by merrilll lynch.does anyone else remember this.hl has huge growth potential.anyhow i was allotted 5,000 shares and i am not stagging.investors how decided not to subscribe must be a bit upset0

i sold because i was shocked to see the intial price go so high! I would have been happy with even 180p!
as mentioned earlier on this thread i cant see what can support the share price to stay at 200p+ levels especially on current growth earnings. maybe within a few months the price will come back down to earth....lets wait and see.0 -
where is the form to download? i cannt find it under account management?
There's a blue box at the bottom left of the page entitled "I want to..." - the third option is "withdraw surplus HL offer cash from my account". Click on that and it gives a link to print the BACS withdrawal request form."Success is the ability to go from failure to failure without losing your enthusiasm" (Sir Winston Churchill)0 -

I can't see it but I have no money to withdraw
Now please thank me - I certainly would have thanked you if you had come up with a compelling reason as to why I should have bought HL shares ;-)PLEASE DO NOT STEAL
