Morning all. Am sitting here stroking the westie. So nice not to have to rush for the paid stuff. Am planning just to do the dailies today as although its raining I'm going to have a day out with DD. Probably indoor things in York but I'll let her choose then see what vouchers I can use! DH is going to do weekly shop again.

    Have a great day everyone.

Despite best intentions had a couple of days off this week (except quick s&s of kitchen and bathroom) :o
Firstly it was DS's birthday, then had a meeting after work one evening 5-8.30
Back on track and made an early start - quick coofee/computer break.
Ds having a sleepover tonight so need house to look good for all the parents dropping off at 4.

Thought while I sat here having five I'd empty the shredder - mostly on the floor . Going to get the hoover out...

Kitchen cleaned late last night. More bad words with DH. This is becoming repetitive. We are not in a good place. Many tears shed as I cleared and cleaned. Normally a good cry clears my head but not this time.

There is uneasy silence this morning. DH is doing the Saturday merrygoround of football and tennis. I'm trying to summon up the energy to have a shower and get dressed.

Uniforms to wash. I may go to the hardware shop to get spray paint. I'm inspired to tackle our tired lamp table after the Earls Court trip.
  • OH was told by GP yesterday that he is pre-diabetic! He has 4 sheets of instructions as to what he can and cannot eat. Now at last we can stop him eating the rubbish pies/snacks he's lived on for the last few years...

So far I have dusted and hoovered upstairs and down, S&S kitchen and bathroom. Doesn't seem much point going the whole hog before DS's sleepover as I'm sure there will be a whole heap of stuff to clean up tomorrow. Bedding all done in TD and beds made, food shopping done, posted an ebay sale and mentally preparing for sleepover with caffeine!

    Hi all
Not a lot to report here, done some craft stuff With the kids this morning, grandparents visited now having some quiet time with a DVD before we go out to tea at a friends house. No flying today other than dailies.

DD still going great guns with the toilet, bless her.

Have moved the other rug from conservatory to living room, looks much cosier now.

Had conversation with in-laws about Tuesday. I think they want to be on their own but feel they ought to be here. I've just told them they need to do whatever it takes to get through the day, and not to worry about me as my mum will be here. But they can come over if it will help. Don't know what else to say really.

So not a lot of flying going on. Suspect it will be the same next week...
