Jazee, that's great about the drinking!

Well TMI: DS (4 in jan) has had two er, in depth, bathroom visits today :o and I said to him "crikey what's got into you!" and he said "well you keep giving me food" lolol I nearly wet myself laughing but it's good to see he's getting a simple grasp of biology lol.

I do kind of have to keep giving him food as over 60% of the things he says to me are "mum I'm really hungry" :D

They ate a whole garlic baguette between them last night, not to mention the bowl of cucumber, a mini pizza, some cocktail sausages, carrot batons and mini waffles (they wanted a picnic).

I've been a busy bee today :D I have deep cleaned & performed maintenance on all the upstairs windows :D I cleaned them inside and out, and since they're UPVC I've cleaned all the groves out with a toothbrush as they were filthy and making the windows difficult to operate. Now they're all clean, I've spray the hinges & locks with WD40, wiped all the rubber seal bits over to stop them sticking and now they're so much easier to operate. Problem is it means nothing else has been done :rotfl: Oh well, I have all weekend to do everything else :D

Since cooking roast chicken and clearing up I've taken DS2 to work, popped back to Mr M to use another £10 coupon on a christmas present for DS2 and a couple of bottles of wine, taken DS1 to cricket club quiz. Need to go now and collect DH from the station and deposit him at the quiz - pick ups will be 10:30 for DS2 and I don't know when for the other two.

Piggers you're quiet this week, are you ok hun?

    Evening peeps

By the time I got back on last night to post about my sparkly bathroom the forum was down. Was late finishing again today due to problemat work again. Have since Ive been home walked doogie roundthe quikemart to get my lottery ticket, and sorted out DD with an impromptu outfit for a sleepover as Amy from big bang theory and not a lot else. I have read fred back but I cant remember much as my head is full of the turmoil of having done well enough to get an interview for a promotion but realising that the interview is with 3 people, 1's ok another will give me a real hard time, and the other dislikes me as he knows I know he's a useless tw@. Heyho gotta give it a go tho. Anyway DH has been busy all day washing and folding clothes and has now just presented me with my tea. Hopefully will fly later although I may just put my feet up as we have a work day trip to MK tomorrow for xmas shopping.

PS I'd noticed piggers was missing and hope all ok too x

do u guys do anything on weekends?

Sadly, yes. Most of the housework - on Sundays, in one big hit. And it's extremely painful. If I could spread it over five days, I would, but the lists tell me what I should be doing when I can get some stuff done during the week. This week I've tested smoke alarms vacuumed the whole place in one hit, decluttered a serious hotspot, CS'd some clothes, scrubbed various dog-related patches of carpet, bought a carpet washer and learned how to use it, washed and dried about (domestic-sized machine) 15 loads of washing at the laundrette in four industrial sized machines, and then hogged all of the driers, and carpetted my office floor in fleeces because that's where the dog is puddling at the moment because she's been reluctant to take her Propalin. I've also cleaned the shower room twice, and on Sunday this week I will only have to do two bedrooms, the shower room, a bathroom and wash all the uncarpeted floors. Slow day, really. Oh, I tell a lie, I'll have to lift the fleeces, vacuum the office floor and then wash the carpet. Not such a slow Sunday, after all.

Lamewolf I may have misunderstood you, but is it a possibility that you may be just a teensy bit speciesist ....

  • so if it's been done already its GONE!

Monday - kitchen and dining room
Tuesday - Living Room, Hall and Stairs, downstairs loo
[STRIKE]Spot clean rugs or carpet[/STRIKE] upstairs only so far - done Thursday evening
Wednesday - Master Bedroom and Landing

    Level Two
Hoover and turn the mattress if possible

Thursday - Bathroom and Study/Pc Area - had deep clean Tuesday :D:D:D - will give a bit more than a S&S before end of the week :p - done at stupid o'clock
    Level Two
Give the desk a good wipe/dust[/COLOR]
    Level Three
    Wipe window ledges

Friday – End of week roundup

    Change a child’s bed
    Level Three
Make space for storing any extra food supplies etc for christmas

    Extras:
Despite the promises decades ago that we were heading for a paperless world it doesn’t seem to have arrived! So declutter paperwork, from files, intrays, magazines etc. Do you still have the receipts from last Christmas stuffed in a drawer? Leaflets for places you will never visit; recipes you will never make get rid of it all.

check freezer, meal plan and online frozen food shop from Mr T
pick one cupboard to add to DVD spreadsheet - these are becoming tadpole-like with legs (from Last Week)

Had some extra me time, as I really wasn't planning on flying tonight - just vegging - but managed to buff and paint finger and toe nails (not the tidiest of manicures, but then I can't remember the last time I painted my fingernails, but we are talking years not months :o) I had a jar of pickled beetroot while watching children in need- then still couldn't settle so I cleared up the bathroom after DS launched his boats over the side of the bath :eek::eek:

Well, the list is getting smaller, this is the closest I have got to finishing the list, and I would love to end up with an empty list come Sunday night - ready for the new start on Monday

hugs, sticks spoons for all xxx
The cold never bothered me anyway
