My weekly update has not improved
Had to go on a training course yesterday and therefore spent £1.75 on two drinks, managed to get bosses to buy me lunch though :T
Then as it was soooooo hot I was extremely naughty and spent £1.80 on a double mint ice cream from Thorntons with a chocolate fudge and chocolate sauce
Then got home and kids were sweltering, ice cream man came and I let them have an ice cream for £2.00. I did tell DH we couldn't afford for him to have one too (and he was unaware I had already had one at the train station so he thought I was being good too :rotfl: )
So, my unnecessary spend so far is £8.57.
Boss has just offered to buy me a twix, no plans for rest of day so hopefully that's it for this week - fingers crossed :rolleyes:0 -
Just spent £2.40 on postage for two Amazon packages.... and checked eBay and nothing bar two things I listed sold:mad: ... U can sell anything on eBay, but no one wants my stuff! And I've just been to work and they STILL haven't sorted OH's wage query TWO WEEKS after pay day.... Still, it's only £540 short  , not like were talking about a lot of money!!! The worst thing is, OH works his @r$£ of for that company
On a good note, my car passed it's MOT yesterday with fling colours and my Stepmum said she'd pay for it.... Bless her x
Oh and another £4.02 into OD pot in last two days, and £6 odd interest on debt account

Being far too lazy at the moment because I think I'm coming down with something!
A very sore gland under my left armpit has been playing me up all week, and now I've got sore eyes and a rough throat to boot!
All in time for my day off tomorrow!!
So I spent £3 on lunch today, which did include some fresh juice in an attempt to get some extra vitamins. Might be a bit late though........Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
So sorry to hear that you two are not well (ciara & CAFCgirl) big hugs to you both!
Lots of new recruits to this thread - welcome - that's so great!
I'm still trying to catch up post holiday in all aspects of life (& please - I'm not even thinking about laundry for another week!)
For the first time in 5 years I think we've returned from holiday without debt!!!
Yes there is some money on the plastic, but that will be wiped out by the end of the month.
Have brought back lots of cheap wine & booze so all social occasions for the next few months are sorted.
I've also been too busy/tired to go to the bank so total no spends this week - had a drink at the local last night (DH treat) & 'cos we came to the end of our holiday cash & were coming home, ended up with 2 free drinks each from landlord!!
CAFCgirl - remind me to ask about green tea next week when brain and motivation back up & running!!
And talking about Tea - DS & DDiL 'forgot' to take tea to France:mad: so in good MSE style I had to drink wine, 'cos it was sooo much cheaper:rotfl:0 -
Jet - how are you doing? and how are the girls??
hope all is well.
Pippo0
