The Unneccesary Challenge

Just popping in to say hello!
I had a bit of a brain melt down a few weeks ago.
Basically I am seeing a psychiatrist. When I went to see him the last time he said he was being made redundant. Well this was my 4th session with him & I was just feeling stong enough to unburden myself of something. So I had a Big Wobble.
ATM, I still have no new psychiatrist. Its very annoying. I am trying to call around the place I was at but they are as useful as a chocolate teapot.
As for the unneccesary challenge. Well I haven't been logging my spends but I have certainly been good.
When I get paid again on the 18th I shall again join properly if thats ok.
Hope you are all well

Did the weekly shop today, but otherwise NSD. Did buy myself a bottle of cheap wine for tonight, as OH is at work all night, but for now, it's coming out the food budget - is that cheating? Food was only £28 inc wine.... Stil got £10 to spend at the butchers tomorrow'We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars' - Oscar Wilde0

WAKEY WAKEY RISE AND SHINE!
Must say we've all gone rather quiet of late.
Is anyone out there struggling and need a bit of support? If you are struggling, do post. We can all offer a kind word and maybe even some handy tips on what makes it a little easier to achieve...
I've currently got the pre-day off blues. Its my day off tomorrow so I just need to get through today!!! I cant remember the last time I had a really good long lie in, and I much as I hate wasting my day off my body really feels like it needs it!
Just got to fill my tupperware with some cereal and so that'll be lunch for me today. I was hoping the pasta bake I made would last............ I was a little hunger monster yesterday though, and alas Pasta Bake RIP

Hi Looking forward to another week and another new £10 note. My lovely boyfriend handed me one in Tesco this morning as I paid for the shopping. So I don't even have to go to the bank
Wine bought at the supermarket definetely comes out of my grocery budget. I do also put £10 aside a month and then about twice a year get Tesco to deliver me three boxes of whatever white wine is on offer, and give me at least 1000 extra points for the priviledge! I got one bottle of New Zealand White Wine this monring, because that nice Mr Tesco had sent extra point coupons for a) buying any New Zealand wine, b) buying any white wine, c) spending more than £4 on wine, and d) double points on all shopping when buying wine!!!! Of course all the vouchers worked for just buying the one bottleThats more towards our free Eurostar trip.

Afternoon. finally plucked up courage and went to Dr spent £6.something on prescription

Hi all,
As said we are all very quiet at the moment.
Still no spends since return from holiday - wanting to save for another one!!
Ruthiejane are you a pigsback member? 'cos I think that you get points for buying wine from tesco.com -& points make things like Boots or John Lewis vouchers!! So they almost pay you for drinking wine - which is my favorite hobby. (PM me if you want details) Brought loads back from france in poppi's big people carrier so we are well set up for at least 6 months.
I do need to look at all spending again, 'cos I've got very used to no unnecessaries, but realised that I had 'snuck' quite a few things into supermarket shop!!
I managed to leave my posh bag with posh toiletries in behind in France - cottage owner will send it on but i guess I will have to pay postage (she's not asking for it, but it is a pinciple thing!) so i need to save up my unnecessaries for that!!
As always - if I used my brain more I wouldn't have debt!!!0 -
PS Ciara - hope Dr sorted you out - you can't be poorly for Paris!!!
How did car boot go?
PPS CAFCgirl - No gossip (guess I'll have to make some up!!) but I did turn down 2 alcoholic drinks on Sunday, so I'm not the total plonky you may think I am!!0
