Hi everyone. Back to drifting in just as everyone else has packed up and gone home.

Welcome Newbies. It's easy to tell who are new to this - people are so polite to them. You know when you're accepted as one of us when people start being rude.

Have finished knitting Xmas Stockings for the Fair on Saturday. I will have a go at a photo but I'm terrified of producing one that takes up the whole page and I will get shouted at. Really! I'm shivering in my shoes.

Now I just have to make Sticky Toffee Pudding, Chocolate Fudge Cake and Apple Crumble + Leek and Potato Soup, Creamy Tomato Soup and some other type of soup not yet decided, for the Soup and Sweet lunch. All very OK except that I am out until 5.00pm tomorrow and it all has to be done by first thing Sat Morning. I foresee a midnight cooking session coming up.
Truly, it would be simpler just to write a cheque and send everyone home for their lunch.

JackieO: Loving thoughts for your DD, we all feel we know your family personally and I know how devoted you are to them, so you must be worried. Thought about you yesterday when we drove through Northwood.

Uolypool: Isn't it amazing how all these bullies collapse with "stress" when the SHTF? I do try not to be vengeful but it's difficult not to hope that something nasty happens to them in the not too distant future. Thank goodness your DS has you.

Kids have done their posing for the day, they are great pics, so expensive tho , currently enjoying a Bulmers Red whilst DH is in the bath;).

Cold here but dry, still not putting clothes out as no drying around.

Mossy has been a very bold dog to-day....OH managed to make him let go of the new cat this morning...not sure where cat is now or how, but in a place like this no chance of being able to find it....have sent Mossy to Coventry but he doesn't seem that bothered!

Uolypool, glad that something is being done about those dweebs, how dare they plead stress!

Mrs MH...nice to see you back and good to hear that all is well with you and yours.

Homemade chicken and veg soup for dinner today, love soup, could live on it all winter, OH not so keen.

OH will be 72 to-morrow...might take him out for lunch but pennies are being squeezed here at present so may just cook something he likes...Sunday is both my brother's and DS1' birthday, nothing exciting for either of them will take brother out in a bit and will think of something for DS1 before I see him.

Would murder something sweet this minute....tempted to break into one of the Panettone in the house, will try not to as really need to get rid of some weight, left leg is being a pia and doc says that it is caused by 'age and obesity'...lovely man!

Uolypool - really pleased that the Police and Uni are taking this seriously, it may take a while to sort but stay strong x

As for the little madam pleading "stress" :mad: - as others have said :mad:sounds like she's realised how serious this really is and how much trouble she's got herself into - serves her b*****y right if she gets thrown out of Uni and the Police then want to press charges! I don't have any sympathy.

Uolypool - As others have said, stay strong. Both you and your DS will be stronger people after this horrible episode. I hope these bullies get the book thrown at them. They cannot be allowed to get away with this horrid behaviour. It will be hard for you but good luck, your friends on here are all behind you.

Welcome to the newbies, you'll like it here. Redlady, I could be in Oban in a couple of hours!!

Work today followed by the physio who said I didn't need to go back unless there's a problem and then to the hospice. Came home and DD had tea just about ready - Tuna fishcakes and stir fry veg. Very nice and lovely to have my tea made for me.

Washing on the airers although if I had been in I would have put it on the line for a while as it was breezy and sunny. DD cleaned her room and bathroom for a change and I will do some housework properly at the weekend.
