Morning
LameWolf, love the ad
Mr tru was at a customer's house yesterday, they had a couple of cats and there was a catflap in the back door. They also keep chickens. He almost peed himself laughing when he heard a noise, turned around and saw a chicken come in through the catflap :rotfl: This particular chicken watches the cats all the time and tries to copy them, learned how to get in and pops in for a visit a couple of times a day :rotfl:
I've run out of tealights  Used the last one in my oil burner last night, along with a some cinnamon oil, it smells like ChristmasMr tru put about 10 drops of oil in, I could hardly breathe after half an hour. I told him to use 2 drops but obviously he knows best *rolls eyes*. I said I didn't want to pay Morrison's price for them but I will if I have to. He thinks we should go to Ikea for some "because it's cheaper". Well yes, but it's a 60 mile round trip so I think the savings will be wiped out just a bit *rolls eyes again*.
I've decided to take money out of the bank each week and hide it away in envelopes. I took what we spend on Easter, Christmas and birthdays, divided it by 52 and got some envelopes ready to fill each week. Then thought it might be better to have separate envelope for each person for each event and ended with about 45 of the thingsDecided that was too many so I'm now having a rethink, lol.

Morning all,
i have days when i am rushed off my feet and days when i dont have much to do and today is going to be a day where i dont have much to do. I did quite a bit yesterday and was up early this morning to complete what i wanted to do so i'm left today wondering what to do with myself.
I'm sure i'll find something useful to do.
Clive Dunn RIP. My Dad used to love Dads army and i had a secret crush on Ian Lavender who played Private Pike. I think he is the only living cast member left now.

morning all!
JackieO - good luck to your DD x
Been a hectic few days - FIL was taken back into hospital but luckily he's ok - a blip with his BP. Lots of rushing around for us as its a 45 min drive to the hospital. I'm sure I picked a tummy bug up there - a nurse did say the norovirus was in the hospital - so spent yesterday on the sofa with a sick bowl_pale_ feeling fine this morning though:) but decided to skip my art group as I'd hate to pass the bug on to the old girls there.
Plans for today are - ironing then later taking DH to look at a van he wants to buy.
Have defrosted a pasta bake for tea for me and a steak slice that was YS for DH.
Before doing the ironing I'm going to do some painting as I've a new watercolour book:)
Have a great day all xDo what you love :happyhear0 -
Morning all,
I wondered whether I could join you please. Im finding the weirdness and doom and gloom elsewhere a bit too much.
I have recently been made redundant and so life is going to change for me.

Thanks Judi. It came as a bit of a shock but I am beginning to get my head around it a little. It wasnt a particularly pleasant place to work if Im honest.
I have many changes coming up, not least getting married so have much to organise. Taking two houses into one will be a challenge for sure :-)
However, today I am going to meet friends for lunch, make mince pies for his nibs and then study as I have exams in a few weeks. My motivation for those had been non existant in the last 3 weeks so I need to kick my butt! :-)0 -
