I went into tesco's today and the one i saw for £19.99 was model number 48710, which is 3.5 Ltr capacity. I quite liked the size of it though. Although a bit smaller than the 6.5 ltr it should do small joints.
Oh now I'm confused over which size to get!!!!!!

Unfortunately the Argos one is now back up to full price, I was too slow.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0

there is a 6.5 litre here reduced to £24.99
although a different make
would be free p&p too0 -
After daily visits to Tesco to try and get a slow cooker in stock I eventually got one yesterday in Argos.
They have their basic Cookworks 3.5 litre reduced down to £8.99, a bargain ;D
Size wise is great for me and as the shape is up and down rather than oval it doesn't take up too much space on the work top.
Daughter has just thrown some vegetables and a piece of gammon into it on high so as we can eat sometime this eveningwhile I read through this thread for some recipes.

Thats a good buy Edinburghlass. I'm going for the one on Amazon that Holly posted as I would prefer the larger one, thanks for that Holly“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0

Well......not quite got the hang of it yet as the veg and potatoes were a bit burnt but the gammon was good.
Got some stewing steak which is going in tomorrow and as I have somehow got chickenpox/shingles, daughter is main cook so I look forward to tasting this tomorrow!0 -

Bought a 3.5lt slow cooker for £8.99 in Argos today (half price) after reading this thread and am now really looking forward to trying out some of your great recipe ideas. Thanks everyone as the leaflet that comes with it is really basic.0
