Thanks for the support guys. SS - not sure what I did to deserve that particular smiley! Friendly lot you are, aye!
This is my 200th post, so thought I'd do a mini update and a happy post
When I first posted in November last year, I owed nearly £1000 more than I owe now. At that time my OP reserve was £200, it's now £1000!
I am nearly 33% of the way through my MFW 13 target, which is good as there are going to be issues in the summer months!
So, yeah, yay!0 -
Well done you, we're only 1/6 of the way through 20130

Great progress, well done :TA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
Mortgage Balance = £0

Thank Lois, GG and edinburgher
Regular OP of 137.59 out the bank, and 43p TT by OH.
Finally out of emergency car repair/dentist/buying laptops(!) area and bank account looking okay again. Don't foresee any issues for this month, and have savings incase anything crops up, so looks good to go. Funding applications sent away, so now the wait is on until May. I probably won't notice until it is May anyway, so much uni work!
Lowest grade I've dropped down to is 75%, highest so far has been 100%, need to keep it up. I know this semester will be a huge step up.
And on that note, off to buy textbooks and get off to uni!0 -
Uni is really taking it out of me, I'm up early every day, in uni by 8.30/9, and not home til 5 on a normal day, 3 on a work day. Working 16 hours on top. And so much work! I know it was going to be a step up, but ooft! Doesn't help that not all our teachers are the best....
Anyhoo! Not much to report moneysaving wise, no more OPs since last time. Oo, although, partner has always left money in account rather than moving to savings cause he likes a 'buffer', which is annoying as he was losing out on a bit of interest. Solution? Nationwide 5% interestI don't earn enough to meet monthly criteria but he does, and he can use his buffer to gain interest! Already with NW so he let me upgrade the account since it won't cause him toooo much hassle!
Non MS side: Friends have been bugging me for weeks to go to dinner with them, and different friends to cinema. Don't have much spare time so they are all getting packed in today, cheap early dinner with friend 1, cinema with 2nd bunch later, maximising study time by reducing travel! Cheap pub for dinner, student card and orange Wed so at least a little MS!
Hope you have a good morning everyone! x0 -
Excellent news about the NW account, Calfuray. I'm just about to apply for one myself.Starting again 13/4/19Home loan 1: £21,102.50 Home loan 2: £7,698.99Total owed: £28,801.49

It's good isn't it?
OH's has been set up already.
In other news - a grand total of 72p in TTs?
Not been up to much moneysaving, just up to eyeballs in study. Off to do some more now!
Not really been posting, been lurking, especially on MFiT and MFW 13 threads, loving the charts!
Also researching for wedding next year, feeling a bit overwhelmed, I don't know what forms and paperwork you need and ah!!!!
Very annoyed at work yesterday, had customer ask for invoice slip each month instead of Direct Debit as it would be against terms of IVA to have £85 a month being spent on something unnecessary. I was and am gobsmacked!0 -

Good luck with the wedding planning, Calfuray.
What is it that you are supplying to the IVA customer for £85pm, and why does it make any difference whether it's paid by DD or invoice???Starting again 13/4/19Home loan 1: £21,102.50 Home loan 2: £7,698.99Total owed: £28,801.49
