I think your name is cool too. It makes me wish I was clever enough to think of something like that. Although I'm happy with Lois, really. (It's not my real name.)Starting again 13/4/19Home loan 1: £21,102.50 Home loan 2: £7,698.99Total owed: £28,801.49

Thanks Lois - I'm not an Anna either. My OH and I have great fun making up user names - some of which could not be used in polite society :rotfl:4 February 2014 - Mortgage Free

Thanks guys. I was half-joking, I'm definitely not going to leave, but I do hate spending money sometimes.
In other news, my car has decided to have another part fail, Fiat garage are quoting me £202 just for the part before any labour  So currently phoning everywhere I can think, and looking online etc for elusive part. It never rains but it pours...
And this happened yesterday as I was driving to Edinburgh, on the motorway, in the pouring rain, in rush hour, on the way to a concert.
Concert was good though. Exhausted today.
Hope everyone is well, off to catch up on diaries.0 -
Been a wee while since I posted!
Have been reading and lurking, but not had much to update.
SO of £37.59 went out, and my manual payment of £100. Still on target, but tight after dentist, car repairs, and gadget detour. Had to remove some money from savings, but then that is what they are for, car maintenance etc.
Normally if I buy something expensive, I'll feel guilty, but I love love love my laptop. Think it will be a really good investment for future.
Don't want to jinx myself, but possible research and publishing opportunity at uni. Busy busy as deadline for funding quickly approaching.
Job that was meant to advertised in January still hasn't been advertised, but another one has popped up unexpectedly, so have applied for that. Wait and see.
Out for lunch today, had the best arrabiata sauce I have ever tasted. Could have eaten it by the spoonful.
That's all for now0 -
Nothing much happening, browsing and lurking.
Finishing up application for funding, won't hear until May.
Uni starts up again day after tomorrow
