Bah, it's only 7.30. Plenty of time.
I love how much thought you put in, and your reasonings are very good. Think I may have to change mine now
Thank you. It's amazing how creative I can be where there is something I ought to be doing that I am putting off. It's like how the only time I get ahead with all my marking at school is when I have reports to write.
I'm now making more alterations to my sig, and have asked people's opinions about it on my own thread so I know where to find it if I want to refer back to it.
No, no, no, I cannot go and make my children get ready for tomorrow yet. Don't you know I have a sig to redesign! *fights battle with conscience and eventually loses*Starting again 13/4/19Home loan 1: £21,102.50 Home loan 2: £7,698.99Total owed: £28,801.49

Thanks both of you. I've changed it.
What I didn't like before was that the ISA and EF were orange (which looked too much like debt) and the family loans were blue, which ought to have been a positive, savings-related, in-the-black kind of thing. So now I've got the family loans in orange, so the colour is related to the mortgage debt colour, but a lesser version.
Does that make everyone's OCD feel OK? I am feeling happy and relieved that I hadn't done anything to offend anybody, and nobody wants to ask me to do anything v time consuming or difficult or illegal or immoral or anything. Instead I got a lovely suggestion that's improved my sig.
I think it would me much easier if you just paid off the mortgage really. Have you fixed the formula yet.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Pretty rubbish day today, hacked off with something that happened at uni.
OP of £100 made for April, and paid for car tax this month. Went to see friend's show last night - absolutely amazing but I'm now shattered from being home late - which probably didn't help with uni!
So upset I ended up missing my first lecture in my two years at uni.
Assignments up to my eyeballs right now too, and applying for more summer jobs.
In other news, going to CostCo and Ikea next week, will be keeping a firm hand on my card! Any regular go-ers have any recommendations for what I should try out at CostCo? Worried my wee car won't be big enough!
Been catching up on diaries and having a general browse. Wish I had more money, I'm trying to find a way to squeeze more money out and into mortgage, but don't want to give up my little luxuries...0 -
Sorry to hear about upsetting thing at uni.

Hi Calfuray
I do my weekly shop in Costco! But also buy for my neighbours as well so we all benefit. I buy 5 doz eggs at the lower price because of this but couldn't use this quickly enough on my own. Costco bulk buying helps me manage my budget but we are strict. We also have the storage so if it is on special offer we stock up if we use it. My OH picks up the odd thing from the supermarket for me - I can't go as I end up spending money. He orders spices from the internet.
My cousin made a list with the prices of all the foods etc she buys/uses regularly and I do a Costco shop for her.
I need to get my head round meal planning and spread sheets as that is what I keep reading about on the forum. We are needing to get on top of this bit of the budget as it has gone by the wayside as we have been dealing with some family difficulties.
Kind regards
